The fact that the barber nailed the haircut despite a language barrier, the haircut drawn on fucking scratch paper, and the guys hair being too thick and curly for that style of cut is astonishing. True master of his craft.

Props to the barber for working from a note book drawing!! Tbh his hair is to thick for the style he wanted and it needs to be trained to flow back like that. You can’t go from curly hair to having straight swept back hair!!! Well done to the barber for making the best of what he had

Yeah, I have curly hair as well and had to get the 6 month treatment to straighten it. I did it for about 2 years but decided I rather not risk any long term damage to my hair because of the chemicals being used.
Huh. I disagree with all of you. I have extremely curly hair but I can do that style. The hardest part about it is simply the skill of the barber. Sometimes you get barbers who just don’t know how to trim curly hair and that really messes with the way I usually fix my hair. Either way, it’s definitely not so bad! Just shower each day, dry your hair but not too much, put some product in, bam. Done! Use a hair brush too. But everyone has different hair so I could see how it would be harder for others.

Barber 88 is hands down one of my favorite barbers of all time! He’s such a master of his craft.
I love how he takes his time. Most barbers I know rush you, or try having a full conversation with you.
Such amazing skill and passion, a true artist. Rare to find a barber that does your hair exactly like the picture you show them.
I think Barber 88 should have his own RUclips channel. I would happily just watch videos of him. A true master of his trade.
I wish my barber would spend 25 minutes with the clippers alone on the back and sides before even starting with the scissors. ASMR top level.
I’m sure your barber could easily do that if you just asked and of coursed paid them extra for spending extra time on you when they could be serving and making money from another client.

I think he seems like a nice guy! Hes just got a subtle smile the whole way through, which is respectful and is showing he's happy with what the barber is doing! People are so judgemental 🙄
I've seen lots if videos from barber88 and what I like most about his work is that he is so detailed and so polite, and who doesnt love his electrical chairs, I know I do!

@ Christian Worsham .. same here and none of them would do a hair wash like this.. I had one almost as close to this, but it was with my head back in the sink and a plump elderly old school gray haired lady hairdresser shampooing me .. a little awkward and slightly embarrassed but she gave me two very thorough firm shampooings . scrubbed every inch of my head and made sure every bit of my head was rinsed .. also when I was a kid my grandmother shampooed my hair the same way... but head was down in the sink .
