They are not that bad, with the population that they have, they do an amazing job to provide a competitive national side to make the world cup. To make a not bad tennis nation, an amazing job to do great in ice hockey and winter sports for Olympics. If Slovakia all focused on one sport in football then they would do better I reckon, but many sports competing for guys to play that sport Slovaks do pretty good in football.
