Hi Chris, I am Moroccan and living in the Netherlands. Just want to tell you that first of all you did a great job with the pigeon and with the baboush man. Actually I can tell you that the man with the pigeon asked for 50 dirhams for the two pigeons. But the other man who translated and put the pigeon in the box did an awful thing to ask you far more. Back to the baboush man, he didn’t charged you at al. Actually he told the other man the same price. So that means he didn’t make any difference between you and a local. Keep doing the good stuff!!

This is one of the few times I can truly say a Western travel vlogger, at least that I've seen, reciprocated the hospitality and also returned and paid forward what they have made off the content they created by visiting. As a Moroccan myself, I believe we are sometimes too polite to say such things, but when you consider the difference in the value of the currency, and how much more that money probably is worth/means to him, I don't know. You did a genuinely kind and good and just thing, and it made the world a better place, and gave me hope. Thank you. Edit: also my mom is from Fes so it's even more impactful 😭

Hello, i'm moroccan and understood that the babouche guy didn't charge you more than others people. He said 20 dirhams also to the moroccan old man in red jellaba that came across. This man couldn't afford the 20 dirharms bowl so proposed to the seller to give him a small amount of soup in exchange of two dirhams and that's what he did. Also about the pigeon, the seller proposed you only 50 dirhams for BOTH of the pigeons, but the guy who "translated" and gave you the box lied about what the seller's said and told you 100 dirhams for only one, that's not cool :( Overall, thank you for not forgetting about the guy who helped yoy with your chanel !
I was looking for someone to explain to him that the seller of the pigeons was asking 10$ for both , but the other guy tricked him into not giving him the second one. Too bad people like that still exist

Bro, I can't express how happy I am. It was nice of you to help the babouche man, who is living a hard life because of the cheap cost of babouche and his situation. As a Moroccan, I want to thank you a million times for your act, which shows how much nicer you are. Thank you. And welcome to Morocco, brother.

Love the way you film bro, so natural and non-scripted, just going with the flow and spreading positivity around you spontaneously. The peigon seller actually said 50dh for one peigons in Arabic and the box guy told you 100dh for both, that was his intention but for some reason the box guy (not the seller) decided to give you one only.
hello chris, what you did with that man is so amazing. thank you and you are always welcome in Morocco 🇲🇦 . and one more thing i want to clarify that he didn't lie about the price, he told the old man that came to buy babouch the same price which is 20 dhs.
Great videos man, appreciate the love you're sending. FYI, the babouche man didn't charge you extra. In fact he told the same price to the old morrocan man next to you and to the barber. So he's worthy of your kindness ! But the translator in the pigeon deal, definitly scammer : The vendor said 5$ for both pigeons and the translator said 15$ for one.
Le has ayudado mucho 🤍

I wish you all the best chris
Thanks so much!
All Moroccan People They welcome you 🇲🇦🙌🏻
Thanks so much!
Moroccan Arabic is different than standard Arabic. But I applaud your coverage of this magical country, your respect for the culture, and your kind gesture toward this man. Good work and great video.
As a traveler to Morocco from Atlanta, I appreciate the Amazigh hospitality. Then, I bargain furiously to overpay many hard working, wonderful people.

You’re soooo kind, thank you for making this videos of Morocco my home country.keep it up
I like your kind ❤ message
Thanks so much for the support! Where are you watching from? 🙌🏻
The guy who said 100 dh, shame on him, he just made a commission for himself immediately... stupid that he didn't see the camera. The vendor said 50 dh for both pigeons, and the other guy just made his commission .... very sad. Shame on Him.
Just recently during the world cup, a taxi driver’s licence was completely suspended because he charged a youtuber a higher amount than it should be. Hopefully the same guy here in this video will get busted.
Thank you my dear brother you are a kind hearted person you made this man happy and welcome to your country🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦❤️❤️❤️❤️
Gracias hermano para ayudar el dueño de Babouches e darles una buena propina, que nuestro Dios te bendiga, un abrazo muy fuerte desde Abdel Casablanca Marruecos

Great video bro and Morocco is very welcoming my next stop will be in Morocco this Year didn’t travel to Morocco over 15 years and you went back within 3 years. Home country here I come lol
You make me happy bro🤩thank you so much for your surprise and help to this man 🙏🏻and you’re welcome to Morocco 🇲🇦
Great videos man, appreciate the love you're sending.
FYI, the babouche man didn't charge you extra. In fact he told the same price to the old morrocan man next to you and to the barber. So he's worthy of your kindness !
But the translator in the pigeon deal, definitly scammer : The vendor said 5$ for both pigeons and the translator said 15$ for one.
u made me so happy because u helpped that men . he looks really in need thnk u allot .

You are an amazing man Chris with a big heart. God bless you!
Le has ayudado mucho 🤍
