We welded heavy steel caster wheels to the bottom of the jack stands on our 818 combine before we bought our second power unit. Combine was stored in corner of shed with cement floor. Drive power unit in, turn wheels all the way for right turn, Roll combine into place. Could be done with two people. Put caster wheels on the stands on the chopper to take it on and off as well. No need to slide the rear axle. Didn't put wheels on the husking bed, barely ever use it.
Neighbor always had one. Not as big a hassle as you would think. He always picked ear corn for hogs. His had a 305 gmc v6, then one with a 301 Allis Chalmers diesel.

Never seen this done before. I love these Uni Systems, but looks like a hassle.
Would have been easier if he had slid the back axle over like you're supposed to
We had a 709 & a 801 set up for doing sweetcorn many many moons ago!!
That is pretty cool to see!
