Literally nobody ever told Akash to do a show in Dubai
🧢 a lot of Indians there I’m sure they did
Yes the filled concert halls must of meant that exact thing
Im pretty sure once akash announced for show there will be a sold out for sure coz we Indians do follow him and his content and as our head count in UAE is that show will look like a concert keep in mind buddy don't ever underestimate my bro i.e Indian
I worked as a "business consultant" in UAE and Saudi Arabia. Any time that you're explaining any activity from your personal life (gaming, reading books, driving, hiking), they can show how it looks when you add 10$ mil to it.
Spoke with some minister of health or whatever, told him that I like hiking and I've been no Norway last summer. He's like "i've been to Norway on a helicopter and drove around in my car that is flown around the world with me, and then when the weather got bad, I was taken to Switzerland for coco and chocolate and spent a night in the most expensive hotel ever". Yeah... I get it dude.
They don't tell you to gloat, they probably tell you because they figured you'd be genuinely interested to know all that is possible. Think about it what's it's like growing up like them where nome of that would even matter to someone else like them so how would they connect with someone not being able to share their life stories? Don't be mad someone is crazy rich, be happy that they felt comfortable enough to share their experience with you.
That’s just show off
That is an interesting and entertaining story. Thank you for sharing.
So you only met the rich part of UAE and KSA lol
"Any time that you're explaining any activity from your personal life (gaming, reading books, driving, hiking), they can show how it looks when you add 10$ mil to it." Definitely not true at all. There are a lot more extremely poor people there than there are rich.
Andrew puts an important aspect into his stand up. Learning the local culture where he performs. His performance in Hawaii was outstanding.
If you're an OG fan, you can tell he does his homework really well. not only that, he got some actual knowledge in his brain.
Same for Amsterdam 🙌
Yeah. There is a lot of buzz about Andrew, that he’s finished and not good but after only seeing a few minutes of his overseas tours, I don’t believe a word of it. This guy is a genius and very dedicated to his audience.
“They literally exploded” - “no no not like that” 😂😂😂
The reason why you're top 5 comedians ever is because you do your research about the city you go to and mix in jokes only people from that city would get. Goat level
😂😂😂 what drugs are you on where this hack is top 5 comedians ever. And then you call him the GOAT in the same comment. Why not just say he is the greatest to begin with
Nope. If you coming to a new place to make people laugh, the least you do is to understand the very people your going take to the cleaners. Russel Peters is another good example. No GOAT there. Just simple intelligence.
@@aftabmohammedify thats exactly what I said🤔 Andrew understands the people. I saw Kevin hart in Toronto and he didn't talk about the city at all. I saw Andrew and he have a whole ten mins talking about things that was happening within Toronto.... not Canada but Toronto
@@markthomas8680 My issue is with the casual usage of the word GOAT. It's lost its meaning overtime being casually thrown around. It's like I said just being intelligent.
@@aftabmohammedify didn't say he's the goat bc he definitely isn't, but he's on goat level
Not all of them went to school in the US. Many go to international schools in the Emirates itself, or are simply progressive and open minded. The cities are cosmopolitan enough, that they interact with way many more diverse cultures living and transiting through UAE, that they just get it!
by school i think he means university. A lot of emiratis do go out for college. But yes, i agree, people in the uae are super globally knowledgeable and most people don't know that and are shocked when they come here.
@@uzairhannure4886 UAE is good because they stopped "stoning people for fun". You still find odd behavior there and here. But I felt quite comfortable, especially because you can still do racist jokes and discuss almost any topic without getting "cancelled" or whatever. Arab countries are the place to be if you want to chill out with some dudes and discuss the basic, primal stuff and have a good laugh.
Except for the filipino slaves right?
okay
@@Metalblowing "stoning people for fun" tell you have a degree in googling bs without telling me you have degree in googling.
Andrew is really persevering with that haircut
Looks quite ridiculous lol
Andrew looks like he is going to give a speech in German and take half the world.
hail hail!
He looks spitting image of Oswald Mosley -British Union of Fascist ! 👍
That’s his Muslim Country look.
That’s his Muslim Country look.
That’s his Muslim Country look.
Honestly I appreciated so much the research he did, cause when he started throwing those Arabic terms around I was so surprised and the jokes around them were so smart as always. And even in this clip knowing the history about the UAE and everything, it's one of my favourite things about Andrew; he is just so well read and likes to be knowledgeable with his jokes. Also, Mark's set had me dying, I actually wished he was on for a bit longer!
As a local, honestly everything you mentioned was true and relatable, which not a lot of Stand up comedians manage to make it relatable with our culture. Andrew you're a great person and a great comedian
Andrew, dear, I attended the show, I loved every second of it. I love how objective you’re, love you ❤
Oh dear, how lovely

When will we be able to watch the full stand up?? As an Arab the anticipation is killing me lol...
Damn we should call the anticipation Israel.
@@bendover7841 Isramas if you will.
@bendover7841 lol good one
the reason i started giving a shit about this guy is because i watched "hawaii gets these jokes" and he actually understood a few things about being in hawaii that aren't always spoken out loud or said to/in front of outsiders. taking the time needed to understand your audience and connect with them hilariously is one thing i don't think i've ever seen any comic do quite as well as andrew has.
obviously, doing it anywhere in the middle east takes quite some balls. i salute that.
is there a way to see the AD special? love Andrew and spent some time in the ME so this really hits home
Bravo on your research and emersion of knowledge.
lol @ the indian guy scared to go to Dubai.... majority of the ppl in Dubai are probably Indians....

He's jealous Muslims are thriving
Akash has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to Muslims, he always has some weird take.
Exactly. He's not Schultz who takes the time to learn other cultures. Akash just goes in with his pre-conceived stereotypes and just riffs from there.
@@JomerTB Most H'dus have Islamophobia fed to them by their parents as well as from generous historic revisionism. They curry favour from the dominant power of the day no matter what century it is
He is racist and definitely a Islamophobe.
There’s a reason they constantly beef on the Pakistan border
Did you see in your comment section that one of the person really declared hindus as Muslim hatred but in reality it totally opposite since hindus are considered infidels and persecuted for centuries under Muslim rule in India ..so be careful what you speak ..because you also don't bother to know about other cultures
Can we buy the show somewhere ?
yoo is the full special gonna be out on youtube??
Glad you fixed the seating arrangements. The prev seating was awkward to say the least
Probably Akash was trying to be special
Schulz is brilliant at deep cut knowledge of the places he visit. In Toronto he was talking about Yonge St. and Missisauga and jerk chicken, the types of things that only Torontonians know about.
how much money did they pay you for all this advertising? bunch of sell outs
The dude was talking about Fairview Mall like he’s been shopping there for years lol. I too thought “how tf did he know??!” Lol
I couldn’t get a ticket to your show please come to KSA!!!!!
where can we watch the dubai show ?
Wait a second you got it mixed up here 05:46:00 Oman is (1 of 2 ) oldest countries in GCC (besides Yamen ). In fact, until 1971 there wasn't a country called UAE it was an extension of Oman which was known as Trucial Oman Scouts ( Educate yourself with the right information )
Love from Abu Dhabi Bro!
He’s talking about the Nissan Patrols. It’s like the national car hahaha.
gotta love schulz
Ok but the picture on your thumbnail is Dubai royals not AbuDhabi
Shoutout to Abu Dhabi my hometown
I am a local from Abu Dhabi and I have studied in a Texas university. However, my english in high school was not that great but thanks to our leaders, I had the opportunity to learn English in a one-year english language program in Atlanta, Georgia. Of course, interacting with the native speakers helps you learn their language faster because you are immersed in the culture.
Emirati women are the most beautiful women in the world. Thank god I am married to one already :) Nissan Patrol is owned by every house in Abu Dhabi but I am a big fan of Toyota Land Cruiser, I feel I own the street when I drive it. Way Cheaper than G-wagon but more powerful and reliable. Abu Dhabi is the best city to live and we have the best winter in the entire world. I advise people to visit it any time especially between November and March. Welcome anytime Andrew :)
Good way to introduce your country ❤️

As someone who lived in Saudi and visited Dubai twice. I can confirm everything he's saying. Especially with UAE! It's FAR more relaxed than we think. Go over there and have the time of your lives! They have REAL money over there 💰

The step bowl haircut is growing on me.
Does anyone know where I can watch the full show?

Dubai and Abu dhabi is way ahead of the rest of the countries in that region.
No way Andrew thinks that people in the UAE are more fluent in American culture than the people at his Canadian shows
you'd be surprised. the UAE has high education.
UAE is mostly expats. Locals are a minority.
You Canadians are fools

I’m from Dubai and I can tell you the people in the UAE have an awesome sense of humour. I live in LA now and honestly the people in LA - the general populace- don’t come close to the level of chill that the people of UAE have.

@@DY0309 Your sentence structure is all over the place and you seem to have taken offence for no reason. Can people stop assuming Arabs are censored people living under a rock.. im honestly so sick of it. just because we look and dress different and have different values doesn't mean we aren't living in the same world.
if you could understand the things we talk and joke about you'd have another perspective. Arabs have a very liberating and inclusive culture, we love humour, we don't shy away from it. Comedians should be the first to understand that for a people who are constantly dehumanised, humour is the best way to fight against that through laughter.
Can they joke about islam ? Foreign policy of your country? Royal family? No so you live under a rock
emirates are so down to earth. they created beautiful country. im just back from dubai and loved it!

I grew up in the UAE, and the reason I'm fluent in English is that we learn English since kindergarten, pretty much it is everyone's second language. It's weird there not to know english. I guess the generation now is even better than mine, they study Chinese and french and German. I'm big in languages, so i kindda feel a bit jealous, lol. It's great to see the education system there getting even more advanced.
So yeah, the country is big on education. it's just that the West doesn't know much, so a lot of people in the West think people in the East still live in caves, lol. It just goes to say who paid attention in school and who didn't.
