- This traditional tea loaf recipe contains no added fat making it the perfect, guilt-free teatime treat!
www.deans.co.uk... - You can change the mixture of dried fruit to suit adding some dried cranberries or finely chopped prunes etc. We used regular breakfast tea, but Earl Grey or fruit teas work just as well - whatever tea you choose, make sure it's nice and strong.
That looks brilliant.. We have started using 1/2 spoon sugar in the same quantities as you have and you can't tell any difference. What a shame those people who have to criticise everything instead of using their eyes, the measurements and weights are shown. They have obviously just flicked through without looking properly, (attention span of a goldfish!) Love your recipe and will be giving it a go this afternoon. Tony & Ingrid in Scarborough.
I've made this tealoaf and its absolutely delicious, it freezes really well too. I sometimes have it with a slice of Wensleydale cheese 😋

how hard would it be to also give measurements for usa viewers...
How hard would it be for you to convert it or workout for yourself FFS!!!!
The easiest answer to that question is because we've only ever used Imperial(now Metric) weights and measures, not ever cup or spoon has the same measurement where as an Ounce or Gram in weight will always be an Ounce or Gram, a perfect example would be 1 US/UK/Metric Cup measurement of flour = 125g/150g/66g. Hope this helps
Beautiful scotch accent . B
