My issue with beefed defenses is that they can sometimes get arrogant and too agressive to the point that they draw a lot of penalties costing the team yards on defense and field position. We just witnessed (assuming you watched Sunday's game(s) 11/8/15) two games where defensive players may have actually endangered or hurt their team. Aqib Talib poked a colt in the eye, and Von Miller was there, and a Rams player Concussed Teddy Bridgewater with possibly unneccesary roughness. They could face fines or even suspensions. As great as Denver's defense is, they cannot afford to lose defensive players to injuries or suspensions. (especially Miller, Ware, Talib, Harris Jr, or even T.J. Ward)
von miller is a beasttt 17.5 sacks in the nfl he is in third in the 2012 season behind J.J Watt for the Texans in first and aldon smith for 49ers in second
That's what Elway and his regime did in 2011 draft, selecting Von Miller! Three years later, they signed...D. Ware!! And this year, led by Wade Phillips, we have No.1 Defense which won a lot of game!!!
@Burrelly25 AP, Brandon Jacobs, an Steven Jackson have all been rocked by shoulder tackles before. and theyre basically the 3 biggest in league. I'm not saying it always works... But they definitely do not always get demolished. If you're a big hitter, most of the time...it doesnt matter how you hit the other player.
I won't deny his playoff play. Dude was in the backfield all day. Thing is, Justin Smith is the best 3-4 DE and one of the best players in general in the league. I have rarely seen a guy take over a game like he can. Miller doesn't have that in front of him. Either way both guys look set to terrorize the league for the next decade. It's gonna awesome to watch. Peace :)
I hate how everyone always says "The best defensive player in the NFL not named JJ WATT". Von Miller shits on JJ WATT. I'd way rather have him as my D. End.
TheDiamondangel I know for a fact that the Cowboys Will go to Super Bowl 51 and if the Patriots go against the Cowboys in Super Bowl 51 then there is about a 7% chance that the Patriots will win and a 93% chance the Cowboys will win. Sorry but that's the truth all you New England Patriots Fans!
I was just rebuttal-ing your comment "Don't be too surprise if you see Miller misses tackles" by stating a fact that he didn't miss a tackle at all last season. That's all. They (Ware and Miller) are both GREAT at what they do, and their first step are crazy!!
cant believe people wanna compare aldon smith to him far and away the most complete backer in the league smith is an amazing DEFENSIVE END but miller is the second coming of Lawrence taylor, derrick thomas, and Mike Singletary in one unfair explosive package god damn is it fun to see him and Dumervil blow up QBs
@Jman16119 I was looking at the difference of form tackling between a rookie and a veteran at 2:11 showing that Ware actually wraps up and Von just ran and threw a shoulder. Did I say he sucked? NO. I'm implying that any player that shoulder tackles would get demolished by power backs.
@Riocoolnes from*** any 3-4 team out there. But that is saying he won't be great for Denver, when he still has his whole career ahead of him, who knows what he will do. Honestly just because he is doing good now...doesn't mean he won't get injured so it could go either way really. (knock on wood).
The guy they compare him to in hit power is now on the other edge if those two get loose and come at your QB at the same time bad things are going to happen
@Squarebusiness88 Shane Lechler is one of the best punters ever. I know he's just a punter but he's gonna be a Hall of Famer. Mike Goodson at Carolina would be a big name if he wasn't playing behind Stewart and Williams. With Romo sucking we may see a little bit more of Stephen McGee (I wish.) but yeah. Not many big name Aggies out there. Others are starting DLine and DBs.
@iClassiqaL even though he wasnt a starter he still played big minutes, denver's backup mlb doesnt start but he still leads his team in tackles with 97, i do admit miller isnt good against the run though, but u still didnt count in the fact that miller played 1 entire game less and had a cast for 4 games, its obvious that if smith had a cast he wouldnt be as effective as he was, i think that smith was the overall better player this yr but next yr miller will take the edge
Von Miller's technique, use of hands, footwork, bullrush, speed, & strength is much greater than Aldon's. WTF are you smoking on. Didnt you realize that Aldon couldnt record a sack when Justin Smith was sidelined. No Justin = No Sacks for Aldon.
@Riocoolnes So does any player who blitzes in a 4-3. But it doesn't matter if he would do better in a 3-4, as long as he still does good in a 4-3, then its a good pick. Why would you not want to pick a player who is going to do good on your team? especially if he is going to do great on another team? Think about it by getting a good player for us, we took a great player for any 3-4 team out there.
Had a great year, but not like Miller's. Miller did it all. No other LB played the run as well as him. He was disruptive as fuck on darn near every play regardless of run or pass. Miller also didn't have Justin Smith in front of him or Patrick Willis besides him. Again, not a knock on Smith. He was purely breathtaking as a pass rusher last year.
@CamWake091 lol u doubt today's athlete's that come out of college man. we got athletic freaks coming from hs to college and u especially see the impact on linebackers.
this man will be the best pash rusher in 2 years guarantee it
Youre prediction is correct lol
Should so one w his low center gravity how he gets so low going around corner. That's amazing
Who would know that Demarcus, and Von would become teammates
Funny how they just won a Super Bowl together. Years after this video.
Funny how your comment was from 3 years ago
@@jacksont8760 4
larry fitzgerald is a slow ass receiver but he runs amazing routes and has insane hands
Yeah but for a pass rusher/linebacker that's great speed
Or maybe Von is just that special
Funny, D. Ware and V. Miller are now in the same team.
gonna get SCARY now
Blakester Utsler Now with a good Defensive coordinator it's going to be a nightmare for opposing teams.
BEST PLAYER IN THE DRAFT PERIOD
That's what Elway and his regime did in 2011 draft, selecting Von Miller! Three years later, they signed...D. Ware!! And this year, led by Wade Phillips, we have No.1 Defense which won a lot of game!!!

I would love to hear what you have to say about him now
@Burrelly25 AP, Brandon Jacobs, an Steven Jackson have all been rocked by shoulder tackles before. and theyre basically the 3 biggest in league.

I hate how everyone always says "The best defensive player in the NFL not named JJ WATT". Von Miller shits on JJ WATT. I'd way rather have him as my D. End.
Miller is a OLB
Odell Beckham Jr's Hair He lined up at D.End in Denver's 4-3 last season.
Von Millers a line backer

Von Miller is a 3-4 OLB and JJ watt is a 3-4 DE

TheDiamondangel I know for a fact that the Cowboys Will go to Super Bowl 51 and if the Patriots go against the Cowboys in Super Bowl 51 then there is about a 7% chance that the Patriots will win and a 93% chance the Cowboys will win. Sorry but that's the truth all you New England Patriots Fans!

I was just rebuttal-ing your comment "Don't be too surprise if you see Miller misses tackles" by stating a fact that he didn't miss a tackle at all last season. That's all. They (Ware and Miller) are both GREAT at what they do, and their first step are crazy!!
i feel like sport science shows statistics that seem impressive but are generally common among other nfl players.
Pretty much new he was goin to be a beast from the start when on his first play of season he causes a fumble ROY for sure
MVP
he's so good that he overshadows elvis dumerville, another amazing pass richer the broncos have.
So true!!
Von Miller is a stud....
1. J.J. Watt, HOU 20.5
2. Aldon Smith, SF 19.5
3. Von Miller, DEN 18.5
4. Cameron Wake, MIA 15.0
5. Clay Matthews, GB 13.0
So want that under armor shirt

cant believe people wanna compare aldon smith to him far and away the most complete backer in the league smith is an amazing DEFENSIVE END but miller is the second coming of Lawrence taylor, derrick thomas, and Mike Singletary in one unfair explosive package god damn is it fun to see him and Dumervil blow up QBs
Denver all day!
@Riocoolnes regardless if he's a bad fit or not for denver. He will improve that terrible defense by a long yard.
This looks like it was recorded in 2001
if denver ever lets him go....i'll cry
its done on purpose if you watch all the others they do this all the time it make them sound better then they really are, kinda making the show hey

ESPN Executive: This videos is over!

Miller=beast
He is amazing ! How does he do that ? Oh wait.. dope.
I have the same bday as miler
Who is here in 2020
If you wanna talk about a second year with a lot of sacks check out J.J. Watt!
@Jman16119 I was looking at the difference of form tackling between a rookie and a veteran at 2:11 showing that Ware actually wraps up and Von just ran and threw a shoulder. Did I say he sucked? NO. I'm implying that any player that shoulder tackles would get demolished by power backs.
but he mentioned the record is 13 sacks, the record is held by aldon smith with 14
@Riocoolnes shows how much you know...he is doing great. He would have played good anywhere.
Gig em aggies
I thought this video was about how he dances
@Riocoolnes from*** any 3-4 team out there.
But that is saying he won't be great for Denver, when he still has his whole career ahead of him, who knows what he will do. Honestly just because he is doing good now...doesn't mean he won't get injured so it could go either way really. (knock on wood).
wrap up son
Yes
Super Bowl 51 mvp!!!
Actually...According to "Pro Football Focus", Miller didn't miss a single tackle last season.
The guy they compare him to in hit power is now on the other edge if those two get loose and come at your QB at the same time bad things are going to happen
Who’s watching in 2018?
I’m not, not yet ;)
Super Bowl 50 MP :)
Ok, maybe Aldon Smith statistically had a better year and is arguably better, but that doesn't make Miller any less elite.
He didn't wrap up at all
Well lady Fitzgerald is like 80 years old so.....
technically hes both like Mario Williams
Had a great year, but not like Miller's. Miller did it all. No other LB played the run as well as him. He was disruptive as fuck on darn near every play regardless of run or pass. Miller also didn't have Justin Smith in front of him or Patrick Willis besides him.

Gig 'Em!
Thats Sad For Fitz... A line backer... faster then him in everyway...
rich sherman I agree
@CamWake091 lol u doubt today's athlete's that come out of college man. we got athletic freaks coming from hs to college and u especially see the impact on linebackers.
They rush on every down.
@iClassiqaL von had twice the number of tackles and played with a cast for like 5 games, its definitely debatable whos better
