- This weeks video is a follow up from the dominant upper structure video we released last week (see it here: • Dominant Upper Structu... ). We can make a small adjustment to the pattern we use to figure our triad upper structures and all of a sudden we can use minor triads to create all sorts of interesting sounds! Check out this video and let me know what you think! Whats your favorite upper structure?
Happy practicing!

Best explained lessons in all RUclips. No intention of impress anybody, just the lesson itself. Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure! Welcome to the community!!
Top video. Thanks Mac 😊
Yes Mack!!! Awesome!!! Thank you very much. I really apreciate every thing you do. Is it too much if I asked you to talk a little more about improv? The series of major and minor 2-5s where awesome! Thank you Mack!
You got it!
Thank you very much sir. Very informative. Apart from resolving to the F major, can i also resolve it to the F minor using (C7 + any 6 of the minor triads) let's say I'm playing a song in G major
this blows my mind. how the hell does this work so well it makes no sense
I think this works because the diminished scale (half-whole) which is the parent scale, contains minor triads (as well as others such as major triads).
Absolutely
