I say Kool aid and liquor don't mix well either, I've tried it as a chaser with my VODKA a time or two and it was a little too sweet but I was messed up though, very lit 🔥😆😩😖😬
Put some Koolaid in Ice trays it will help with the flavor. Using unflavored Ice can weaken the flavor of your Slushie. Thanks for sharing

Thanks! I’ve found if you crush the ice into snow before adding the water, sugar, and KoolAid mixture, it creates a better texture that is close to the real store slushies.

This worked so welll. I added 3 cups but it wasn’t really enough. For the people who try this, probably add 4-5 cups of ice.

I always start with warm water to dissolve the sugar. Put the sugar water in the fridge until it's cold.

Make your koolaid almost like a syrup. Put a lot of sugar in it and boil it on the stove top and refrigerate it use it like a day or so after and use ice.

Kool Aid Slushies: Easy to make, perfect for summertime. Makes about 12-16
Ingredients:
(2-3 cups) granola mix (I used organic sugar free sugar)
3.4 oz (115 g) soft serve ice cream (I used organic)
1/2 cup (40 g) powdered sugar Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine granola mix, soft serve ice cream, and powdered sugar.
Roll into a cylinder about 1″ in diameter. Shape into a small flat disc about 1″ thick and place in fridge for about 15 minutes to firm up. Once stiff, cut one edge half lengthwise and make a loop through the center through any holes and into a shallow piping bag with 1 inch or less of open end. Place in a plastic bag in a heat proof container, put in fridge overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line freezer bags with aluminum foil (preferably 12″ wide and 30″ tall). Place in preheated oven and bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes at 350 degrees.
After 6-8 minutes, remove

My drink mixes all contain sugar themselves. So how much drink mix would I use to make a slushie? I can see this makes more than one serving but it's only me I don't think George my cat wants a slushy during this heat wave but he does like cold bottled water from the fridge with crushed ice in it.
I would use a couple tablespoons of the mix and taste it. If you need more you can always add it.
