hi, der pso bekommt ein europowerpack mit 1650 ps... denker das reicht ! hab bei kmw geslesen das er auch von der bundeswehr beschafft wird :D -- > 2011 bis 2018 will die Bundeswehr insgesamt 150 ihrer LEOPARD 2 mit Komponenten des PSO ausstatten lassen. Zusätzlich sollen 50 so genannte UrbOp-Kits (Urban Operations) beschafft werden, die ebenfalls auf den Komponenten des PSO basieren.
@MrCB304 it was planned to be upgraded all along, and it used the british l7 gun at the time the best gun the west had besides the british rifled 120mm gun.
ich hoffe dass ein neuer panzer entwickelt wird, auf dem 6 rollen fahrgestell des pumas. und dann eine fette panzerung zum anhängen, noch fetter als beim puma so dass man so etwa kommt auf 32 t+ 15 t etwa in der größe des t90 aber kleiner, mit ner 140mm und hardkill systemen und 2 mann besatzung im der wanne.
@lordcrusade Lol, the Challenger 2 does so there goes your armor ego out the window. Technicly the Leo is already superior. The only problem is, the Leo 2 hasen't yet seen full scale combat like the Abrams. But that doesn't make the Abrams better. Dutch and US had a practise fight once. Dutch had their 80 Leopard 2's. US over 150 Abrams. Abrams were forced to retreat with most of their tanks gone against 20 destroyed tanks on the Dutch side.
@IpMan19 ha, jetzt meint der Ami seine Abrams Sardinenbüchsen könnten mit nem Leo 2 A7 mithalten :D Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber ich glaube sogar der neueste T-90 Panzer könnte den M1A2 locker zerhackstückeln^^
@IpMan19 Then youve got the wrong idea of destroyed. It doesnt need to be in 5 million pieces to be labeled destroyed. Those tanks arent just disabled and abandoned
@alboclev Acutally US had very little loss of M1A2 Abrams and M1A1's ever heard about the M1A2 Abram which fought it way out of enemy lines? not to mention it got hit with Rockets left and right still ran great and got the hell back to base my point is no tank comes close to the Abrams with Armor and Tech
i think you cant achieve peace with violence... but its a beautiful tank... and very usable against riots...like in peking or prag :[ i think you shouldnt use tanks therefor. leo 4live, put away the blade and use it for WAR and against taliban

Those are only abandoned Abrams by the soldiers. No Abrams have been reported to be destroyed in battles.

All the leopard series tanks are useless turtle like slowing crawling machines, M1A2 will blow all these metal trash up on every encounter.
