@@jonathanadkins6425 If you mean the US by America, then yes, the US is buying the 2A7+. Not the chassis, but the tower with its modernized turrets and electronic systems to replace the outdated Abrams tower.
Btw there was even a short time window where Trump and congress were having a voting on replacing Abrams with Leopard 2A7+ and Bradleys with Puma. Trump vetoed it because he feared a strong dependence on German armour. And this is something unprecedented: the US for the first time thought about buying foreign weapon systems and in the end by now did so by buying the 2A7+ most advanced components and Lynx IFV. If there is one thing Germany can do right then it is engineering, every other German weapon system (jets and ships) is garbage, but Germany currently leads the global market on armored vehicles and portable aerial defense weapons platforms (ie Mantis and Skynex)
German tanks = sport cars + a bit of armour + 120mm OP AF cannon
leo2 has pretty good armor. but its a secret how good the front is

Raviolo porsche actually made hybrid Tiger 1 prototype but it broke down and A.H took the one we know and love since then.

@@sebs.3917 There is open report from Swedish trials about how good it is. For 2A4 or 2A5 at least. And yep, its pretty.
we just dont talk about the hull armor and the ammo-stowage in the hull..

Germany and France working together to fuse the best traits of Leopard 2 and Leclerc in a joint tank.
The Russians meanwhile are likely unable to built more T14 Armata (no reliable info, but it seems even the downscaled first batch did not ship to the troops in 2022) in the forseeable future, because they need european electronics and parts for it that won't be coming anytime soon. Russian tank factories are already on hold and can't even produce older models.
I think russian tanker was never a good job, but as of 2022, with Europe rearming and Ukraine kicking ass, it might just have become the worst job in the world.

MrToxicXx The Chieftain's engine is iffy..
While the L60 was perfect in its operational torque, and horsepower range, It was clearly just bearable for the chieftain towards the end of it's service.
But It sure was damn intimidating to hear the power pack under full bore that's for sure, only until the engine starts sounding like a dying elephant, then blows apart from horrific wear and tear..
I love the sound em especially when the chieftain accidentally lays a smoke screen
The Leopard1 has the best sound. It makes your lungs rattle
ch vdh after actually standing beside the turret on the hull while they were starting the engine and hearing one outside the tank of one I can say the leopard not the loudest tank I’ve heard. That prize goes to the centurion. You can literally hear it rumble the ground while it’s 400-500 meters away

@@U2HS1D The German Puma / KF41 is still the best and most modern AFV in the world and the Leopard 2A7 is beside of the new Russian T-14 still the best MBT in the world. Furthermore South-Korea took a lot of German tank technology to build their tanks.

@@sonatine3266 nur das T-14 nicht existiert bzw nur in Test Einzelwerksionen und laut russische Regierung wird auch nicht produziert auf Grund den Höhe kosten und fehlender Technologie und daher wenn überhaupt sollte der T-14 mit dem neuen Leo verglichen werden.

This German leopard tank and the Israeli Merkava tank are my favourite tanks in the world and in my opinion, the very best out there.
AFAIK, the tube they used to deep dive crossing is for the engine to be able to breathe otherwise it would pretty much suck out all the air of the crew compartment.
Imagine a version of the tank with electric propulsion instead of ICE and thus without the need for such a tube suddenly appearing out of a river/lake/sea.

I, ve seen some great tank displays from Bovington here in the UK being a brit I, m a fan of the challenger ..but I can,t fault this display it's probably the best all round display I, ve seen and the leapard is in my eyes equally as good ..Thanks for this footage without filming like this we would never experience such a display absolutely fantastic film ..10 out of 10
challenger is better in crew protection; i would rate that a tad over the now a bit outdated Leo2.
Yes, everybody is proud of their own toys :-) Hopefully there is a future for tanks and a next generation of new Leopards. We even managed to get an upgrade to the outdated "Marder" and got the so called Puma. That is maybe a little sign to have a new generation of Leopard as well. Greetings from Germany

no the Jaguar was based on the Hanomag-Henschel Raketenjagdpanzer 2. We put on these tanks additional armour plating and new ATGMs. And the Jaguar 1 also called Raketenjagdpanzer 3 based upon the Hanomag-Henschel Tank destroyer "Kanonenjagdpanzer"

Suryoyo Das dient der besseren Gewichtsverteilung, da der Motor im Puma nicht hinten ist. Dort befindet sich die breite Luke für raschen Ein- und Ausstieg.
der puma kann auch noch 12 soldaten mitnehmen ..........da wäre der turm in der mitte blöde ...

А что же до подготовки к "WWIII" - пусть готовятся сколько угодно, вот только в этот раз у них на "блицкриг" будет минут ~20 от силы, думаю не нужно объяснять, почему именно столько. Поэтому если планы действительно серьёзные, могут начинать собирать крышки от бутылок Колы уже сейчас - в будущем обязательно пригодятся.
