0:41 - Tannins are beneficial to betta fish, and some other fish species. I want to make a note that tannins are toxic to snails, and if planning to house snails with a betta or other fish species, definitely make sure to boil and then soak that driftwood. I boiled and soaked driftwood last night for a mini scape I did for my snails, and there were so many tannins that came out of it!
