In some documents, it is written that the god of "Izumo Taisha" was enshrined from "Izumo Shrine".
Also, it may be because "Izumo Taisha" in Shimane Prefecture was called "Kitsuki Taisha" until 1871 (Meiji 4).
What is a Ronsha?
In the video, I explained that it is a shrine that is likely to be listed in the "Engishiki Jinmyocho" (Sacred Shrine Register), which was created in 927.
The "Engishiki Jinmyocho" (Sacred Shrine Register) is a book written more than 1000 years ago.
Sadly, not many shrines have been inherited as they are.
Therefore, when there are multiple shrines around a shrine listed in the Engishiki that are thought to be "possible successors to the shrines listed in the Engishiki," each shrine is called a "Ronsha".
Izumo Shrine, which I visited this time, is a "theory shrine" of "Izumo Shrine" just like "Izumo Daijingu" in Kameoka.
