I love how he seizes life with his voice, a joyfull growl and pushes all the borders he can.

Thank you VERY much for putting this up. Saw this doc a long time ago (on PBS I think) and was absolutely captivated by Sam Fuller. What a character! He's one of those directors that few people have heard of but who influenced many famous filmmakers.

I remember this from the Independent Film Channel back in the mid 90s. I still use it to get people into Fuller's movies, to this day, to this very minute even.

Thank you immensely for uploading this. I had not seen it before. Sam Fuller was truly a great soldier of the cinema. The real deal.

One word to emphatically describe Sam Fuller? Iconoclastic

Thank you for uploading this. I loved this when I first saw it on PBS. I don't think it was ever released on video or DVD. Wish they would.

Tarantino back then when he would talk about films came across with a lot of depth. Now he believes his own hype and belittles films that are striving to be more and elevates shit.

Poor Sam. No need to have a paper now, he could have gone hog wild with the internet.

Man, this documentary filmmaker plays all the classical music clichés - ode to joy, fur elise, prelude to tristan und isolde, etc.
