I feel like the older dungeons and raids hate casting gear sets, because I try to get a few sets in the past and it hardly ever drops....and now I want the Ivalician Oracle set and reading the comments on the lodestone for the top it seems like it rarely drops.
I unlocked Eureka after patch 5.1. Leveled up just to get the elemental +1 fending set. Matches very nicely with the TEA weapons, the pld zeta weapon, and the novus/nexus weapons (I forget which has the white/yellow glow effect).
I got the full Defending Set and Full Striking sets when they came out. Kind of regret not getting the Maiming set, but given that I finished all of Eureka, I might be able to get it a bit easier.
One of the most cheek-clenching things I’ve done in Eureka is reflect farming alone in an instance. Fortunately I didn’t die, but I did die once in an instance of two people and they were kind enough to traverse the map to rez me. Eureka folks take care of each other.
I unironically love Eureka. Its the most "MMO" the game has ever been when it was active, players coming together and helping each other towards the same goal. Still some of my most cherished memories from the game. Bozja never quite lived up to it IMO

I did Eureka + BA in like 2-3 weeks half a year ago. Can confirm -working- suffering together with other players in each of the four instances was an extremely cool experience. There's always at least one instance permanently active and tracking Fates.
I am 3 minutes in but I just wanted to say this is already one of my favourite ff vids I've seen so far. Keep up the good work man, this is insanely good.
With a levelling dungeon like Qitana Ravel, the guaranteed loot drop upon killing the boss is job specific unlike the chests in the dungeon. If you get the full set from the dungeon due to bad rng you are guaranteed the weapon because that job specific boss drop cannot be a duplicate of gear you already have in your armory chest. Just if people plan to farm any levelling dungeons for glam.
Absolute mood. Wanted the triple triad mount and already filled out everything from ARR-SB until i realised I had to do eureka for some of the cards. Total agony.

I felt your pain in this video. Back when I was still in ARR I saw this awesome looking Roe Paladin afk in Mor Dhona on a giant white griffin wearing the glowy elemental set. As a Paladin main myself, this glam blew my mind and I just had to have it. So I looked up the set and the steps involved to get it.... needless to say the process seemed very convoluted and I couldnt quite understand what it was even talking about. Nearly gave up on the idea then and there. But I figured I still had all of heavensward and needed to get into stormblood to even start worrying about it. But when all of that content came and went, that chad Roe chilling in Mor Dhona started to haunt my thoughts. So I took the plunge and entered eureka. I told myself to just focus on one step at a time. Dont think about all of the step after or i'd likely quit before I began. The place is a hellscape for grinds. A true grindscape. The process was made less terrible by the fact that I wasnt there suffering alone in this strange, unforgiving land. Any help I recieved was truly a blessing as we all worked together to take on NM's for days on end. Before long I started to find I was enjoying myself. I think I had started to develop an actual stockholm syndrome with the place. An eternity later, I finally had my Glowing Elemental set (and even continued on to Baldesion Arsenol) and it was GLORIOUS! But my perfect Paladin glam was not complete without the perfect weapon to accompany it. A little youtube shopping brought me to the Excalibur Zeta. It just had to be the grindiest of all relic weapons, I mean of course 😑😫. Another giant slog later, I had my perfect weapon. But there were still things I could do to improve the look: Angel wings for 700k mgp from the golden saucer, a certain pair of gold wing earings from the (spoiler) boss fight in shadowbringers, and the halo from the mogshop. I had transcended Paladin and arose to full on Angel. But even now, there is still one thing left incomplete. What is a true Warrior of Light without a true and trusty steed to bear them that is equally as magnificent? The White Griffin mount had sprung to mind, but after some more online browsing, I knew nothing else would cut it like The Astralope. So now, currently having become a Mentor, unlocking the Mentor Roullette, and now about 1500/2000 roullettes in, im on my way to complete the Perfect Paladin Glam. Perhaps I'll retire after this. I know of a place in Mor Dhona, a spot where a certain Roe chad used to hang out. Seems like a good place to afk for a bit.
This entire vid is a vibe and I am here for it! I also feel your pain, if I'm about to go into a msq cutscene and the class I have equipped doesn't look glamoured up and ready, I'll change class to one that is because the wol needs to be a fashion icon!
That's funny. I remember getting that scythe on my Reaper while leveling it up, so it being somewhat special should be a nice glamour potential idea, and already had Eureka fully unlocked, so getting elemental Maiming set was like a picnic tour for me, since I'm one of those weirdos who love Eureka. Then again I love Dark Souls and their likes too... 👀 Just wish they would retroactively put Reaper relic gear into Eureka too, because why not, I want it all! Glamour truly is the Real Endgame.
I completely feel you. I got a baller DRK glam but that's it and I'm on a constant hunt for other cool pieces and the Eureka gear is up there on the list but the entire grind required makes me shudder and prioritize other stuff constantly. Really hope the devs would, at the very least, make Eureka faster. It needs an overhaul all around but even just doubling exp and halving the needed materials for stuff would be so good for people on the grind.
Great video! As someone on the glam grind myself, I sympathize. To complete my PLD glam, I'm stuck deciding between the HW relics or Eureka ones, and I'm not sure how much pain I'm willing to put myself through.

I feel this video, but in another way. I am extremely obsessive about color schemes, and texture, and thematic relevancy, so I spent several years dissatisfied with my glam until I finally struck gold and I haven't changed it since.
I love the glamour system in FFXIV, but at the same time I hate it it has good functions, that other MMO's are missing, but it's missing some that others have and the dyeing part is actually just sad could have been so much better but overall still one of the better glam systems out there
It's really really not bad.. you spend most of your time afk waiting for stuff to spawn. This is literally rhw only actual mmo like grind in the game. You can't complain.

I actually really enjoyed my time in Eureka after I learned how they did things there. A couple times I even took over the tracker and lead people around.
I need you to know I nearly gasped aloud when you said the chest piece was the elemental gear because, as much as I unironically love grinding for gear, I refuse to touch Eureka with a 7 ft pole
Eureka was my jam back in the day. They made it so much easier but I'm glad the same energy is received today. Maybe I should come back to FFXIV. Thanks for reigniting the spark I once had in the past.
I understand your pain, took me a month+ of suffering in eureka to finally got the elemental armor of fending. Also, last year I literally grinded in final coil of bahamut 4 just to get the dreadwyrm staff, it dropped after 20th run, and I also became a BLM and doing speed grinding for weeks until 80 so i could cosplay as my favorite character from an old anime for halloween. it was completed 4 days before halloween
Fashion Fantasy XIV. You can definitely make some astounding outfits. I absolutely love that literally every armor piece and clothing you can get can b a glamour. It doesnt have any preset skins to buy, and even if you do buy an outfit off the storepage, you can mix and match it into your own unique glam. I love making outfits, only making Edgy glams for classes I get maxed out. Speaking of, I should try to get edgy crafter/gatherer glams, seeing I maxed all of them out. Thankfully I only need one for each category. For now anyway.
The worst part about the grinds is the end because although you are finally done and feel a sense of accomplishment it’s the emptiness of “What now?” Like you dedicated so much time into something and it just ends and you’re struggling to figure out what to do just to keep playing because you have all this time but nothing to do with it So you end up just “afk” in Limsa and watch your screen just to catch that one person looking your way because “I worked hard for this fucking glamour set and I need SOME FORM OF VALIDATION FROM SOMEONE”
Im glad that you too appreciate the Ravel Keepers scythe. I actually farmed it too when Reaper first came out because I was already a huge fan of Ravel Keeper weapon glams. I used it with a samurai look tho

Before the video even started I knew this was gonna be about Eureka, had war flash backs the minute my fears were confirmed. The community in those instances was so fun though, especially in Pagos/Pyros. Anemos is lonely Hellscape and Hydatos is spaced out to hell
I want to start by saying that this was a fun watch, got some lols out of me. I Did want to point out that all leveling dungeons will give you a piece of job appropriate gear, and IIRC it doesn't drop duplicates, and depending on your rng doing trusts and clearing it might be faster for such things. Also, if you ever get content lull blues I'd recommend finishing Hydatos, as it feels like the chillest zone, and the shortest lvl range and no sleeping dragons. The bunny chest drops call sell really well and don't forget nude reflect farming on sprite island, you can also see BA and true horror

Remember running Orbonne Monastery... an UNGODLY amount of times... just to get the Ivalician Sky Pirate's Hat... just one goddamn hat... and I eventually got it... and you know what? It was worth it. That hat is the most recognizable part of my character and I adore it. Glamour Gang™ rise up.
Eureka is one of the contents I wish to do, but doing it solo is so painful, I know that there is discords but even so there is not that much people doing the content anymore. But anyway, glad I got recommended your video, great content and quality.
My brother literally has had farmer outfits for reaper since it released. He's never done anything other than that. No edginess. No black. No coats. He's a farmer. He's even using the basic scythe. Also, before they added the "getting one piece of gear for your role upon completion" thing, I spent almost a year and a half farming for the Skallic Coat of Fending...only for them to add a craftable version that dyes way better a month later when Endwalker dropped.
you think thats bad? Try setting up a 45 man Savage raid which requires people to dish money for items require runnning the raid and running it multiple times to get the glam, id do Eureka grinding any time than having to coordinate DRS post launch.
Fortunetely (or not) 90% of savage/ultimate glams are dog-shit, especially weapons so I never felt need to do them, being a glam freak I am. Only new WAR hammer from P4s savage is something I would like to have but 1 glam is not worth weeks of grinding and going through pain of finding static. I was hoping for new Ult weapons to not be again low resolution low effrot "SLAP THE LIGHT EFFECT AND INCREASE SHARPNESS!!!" ones, but yeah, garbage again. Eureka armor is still my fav for most epic glams.
@@honestbenny youre not a glam freak lol because you would know there are alot of timeless/staple pieces in alot of savage content and old pieces that have had resurgence because newer pieces have retroactively made some of those older pieces better because lack of good matching pieces and new dyes.
@@honestbenny hard disagree. Alexander, Omega, Eden, and Pandaemonium savage all have some fantastic glamour pieces. I love collecting glamour pieces from past and current savage raids.
@@treebush I am, just because I have different taste than you doesn't made me any less glam freak. I agree with previous poster that Alexander has great pieces, especially weapons. But I find 9/10 savage stuff shit compare to stuff you can get else where. Not to mention that many just dye horribly and are terrible to pair with everything. If you visit eorzacollection you can see that majority of top/best glams almost never use anything from savage/ultimates becasue they are just not that good for glams. Shadowbringers had good pieces, but most dye horrible sadly and I use Edengate pieces for paladin glams but savage versions were totally unnecessary since they dye horribly. There is a difference between making good glam from many pieces and slapping a set and calling it a glam.
@@ekn4514 I agree on Alexander. I partially agree on Eden as Eden pieces are nice, but savage version (dyeable) dye horribly, making effort totally not worth it. Omega is ok, though for very very specific glams. Pandaemonium I don't find anything interesting or epic there, apart from WAR hammer. Very generic and without any staple in design.
ohh eureka. I am currently at the end stages of Pyros because ever since I saw the pyros sam blade I knew I needed it. Luckily it is something my gf and I do casually together so it has actually been a very fun experience so far. Also helps that she is a healer ! Yep I feel this. As a glamour and mount enthusiast I spent around a month grinding nothing but Eureka for the glowy armor and Ozma mount. If I had a soul left I would say it was whole
1:26 you don't need third party software to try something on you see in world: click on player>examine>go to the piece>try on. you could even "save outfit" and then try on other stuff with it to see how different pieces will look with it
I feel this. I did the elemental fending grind right before endwalker came out. And before THAT I did the zodiac weapon for PLD. Over a month of grinding
Sir. Your pain. I feel your pain, but in a different way. While I am a Glamor ho myself, the problem was that I was hunting Triple Triad cards for the mount and about a half dozen of them are Eureka related and did require me to get to Hydatos. To that end, I wound up incidentally leveling up two sets of Artifact armor (I have the shiny Fending chest) and the majority of my Bard Relic weapon. I still have yet to finish Euereka, but there is.. there is a mount. As for glamour pain, when Orbonne Monastary was new, I ran it 7 times in a row in one day for a hat I wound up never using (And did not drop) over the course of the next few weeks (I'm not entirely clear on the timeframe but I know I got the Aiming chest, hands, feet, legs before ever seeing the hat when I COULD get it, so at least a month). By the time the hat finally dropped, I had better things to glam with, and as a typical Miqo female, I am skeptical of any hat that hides my ears.
I KNEW THE SECOND I saw the video title it was like oh yeP Eureika I'm sorry my brotha. I must go down this path myself for the relic weapon for AST pray for my own journey back to that hellscape. (I did it originally just to get the artifact armor for NIN ;-;)
this video is probably older than when i actually started Eureka in EW and it really wasn't bad for me... Could be that Crystal, having most of the CAFE people in there that organize BA runs, will inevitably help the process if you join at the right times; but it took me less than 2 weeks to complete one weapon, and then it was a few more sessions for the armor i wanted... I did end up grinding it a lot more since it was a super fun experience for me, ending with a few +2 full sets or armor and weapon, but still... 😅
I went through Antique Caladbolg to Xiphitos Eureka (Base one looks so much cooler then the glowing step, Pagos and Hydatos were the worst steps) and Pyros Guillotine and it was just outright misery ;w; (I did also Fending and Maiming Elemental body armors and helmets when I worked for SMN and WHM Eureka relics and BA clear for Ozma).
This reminds me of that time when I decided it would be perfectly fine to do the entire Anima relic questline for Terpander Lux... a solid 2 months of hell that I will never get back but hey, I got that cute Anima minion + imo the best bard weapon glam in the entire game. Also! Thank god I did it before they took off the aether oil quest in one of the patches so lol
Eureka, a place of challenge and cooperation, of working towards a goal with friends and strangers, what a wonderful place. All I got was people deliberately pulling bosses to deny other people a chance at the low drop chance loot while spewing non-stop toxic bile into the general chat to make everyone else feel as terrible as possible no matter whether they kept trying or gave up. What a horrible, terrible, awful place.
Watching this again, and turns out between my first viewing and today, i ended up getting all the way to pyros for the monk feathered hat for an Alucard cosplay.

6 months? That’s nice. I once really wanted to get the full Field Commander’s Set. And after 3 years of constant burn out, I finally got it. And am not using it for any of my glamors. Now that’s the true endgame. Getting shit you’re never going to use.
I wish FF14 would utilize a system that let's us look at all armor, weapons, and mounts so we can see everything (and it can tell us where to get it). If there's a weapon or armor piece that has multiple versions, just have them in a sub section.
If you’re ever having a bad day, the Warrior of Darkness will be their to cheer you up! Haha, I really dig your productions! I haven’t played very far into the trial and it will probably be a long time before I play the full game. But let’s be real - my main motivation is to put together cool glamour sets. I think some of the Aglaia and Orbonne Monastery chest pieces looks great. But I’ve heard horror stories about going for alliance raid gear. There’s also a Paladin relic I want from Bozja, but I’ve heard that it isn’t quite as bad as Eureka?
Late to the party, but i feel this. For a week straight all i did was run Grand Cosmos for the fending helm, though it never dropped. A few days afterwards while running dailies i get Grand Cosmos and the helm drops. Unluckily for me i was running sage and not a tank so i didn't end up getting it, and haven't seen it drop since then 😔
After doing 128 runs of Scalla for some healer pants back in ShB, I knew the true pain of the desire for glam. But even that, would be preferable to Going past Anemos in Eureka for anything.
I mean…I’m having a blast in Eureka. Not everyone’s. Up of tea. I get it. But to your viewers, I would definitely recommend trying it out. It’s a lot of replayable content

Tried to get to the point I could obtain the glowy elemental armor, but lost it at Pyros. Eureka is just...so mind numbing. I do have that Ravel Keeper's Scythe though and I agree it's a beauty.
I find myself pretty much only playing the game for glams, and I'm not anywhere near any sort of endgame content. Still at the start of EW, and I've been working on relics on and off for a while along side some PvP (though I played a lot of PvP pre-6.0 because I just thought it was fun). Currently up to Pyros @ Eureka, I kind of like the Eureka content, but its a bit more of a grind than I expected it to be; still isn't worse than some of the things I had to grind for in other games, but definitely a grind on FFXIV terms.
What katana is that in the samurai section with you pulling all the Yukinkos? Ive gone through a lot of the katanas on the sites and cannot find that one. Its amazing and I would love to craft a glamour around it. Or own it anyway. Also amazing video! Top quality content

actually one of the best experiences I've had was just running around Eureka as a Sage and rezing people that I could get to first, it was fun.

I feel this video, but in another way. I am extremely obsessive about color schemes, and texture, and thematic relevancy, so I spent several years dissatisfied with my glam until I finally struck gold and I haven't changed it since.

Eureka was my jam back in the day. They made it so much easier but I'm glad the same energy is received today. Maybe I should come back to FFXIV. Thanks for reigniting the spark I once had in the past.
I understand your pain, took me a month+ of suffering in eureka to finally got the elemental armor of fending. Also, last year I literally grinded in final coil of bahamut 4 just to get the dreadwyrm staff, it dropped after 20th run, and I also became a BLM and doing speed grinding for weeks until 80 so i could cosplay as my favorite character from an old anime for halloween. it was completed 4 days before halloween
Fashion Fantasy XIV. You can definitely make some astounding outfits. I absolutely love that literally every armor piece and clothing you can get can b a glamour. It doesnt have any preset skins to buy, and even if you do buy an outfit off the storepage, you can mix and match it into your own unique glam. I love making outfits, only making Edgy glams for classes I get maxed out. Speaking of, I should try to get edgy crafter/gatherer glams, seeing I maxed all of them out. Thankfully I only need one for each category. For now anyway.
The worst part about the grinds is the end because although you are finally done and feel a sense of accomplishment it’s the emptiness of “What now?”
Like you dedicated so much time into something and it just ends and you’re struggling to figure out what to do just to keep playing because you have all this time but nothing to do with it
So you end up just “afk” in Limsa and watch your screen just to catch that one person looking your way because “I worked hard for this fucking glamour set and I need SOME FORM OF VALIDATION FROM SOMEONE”

Im glad that you too appreciate the Ravel Keepers scythe. I actually farmed it too when Reaper first came out because I was already a huge fan of Ravel Keeper weapon glams. I used it with a samurai look tho

Before the video even started I knew this was gonna be about Eureka, had war flash backs the minute my fears were confirmed. The community in those instances was so fun though, especially in Pagos/Pyros. Anemos is lonely Hellscape and Hydatos is spaced out to hell
I want to start by saying that this was a fun watch, got some lols out of me. I Did want to point out that all leveling dungeons will give you a piece of job appropriate gear, and IIRC it doesn't drop duplicates, and depending on your rng doing trusts and clearing it might be faster for such things.
Also, if you ever get content lull blues I'd recommend finishing Hydatos, as it feels like the chillest zone, and the shortest lvl range and no sleeping dragons. The bunny chest drops call sell really well and don't forget nude reflect farming on sprite island, you can also see BA and true horror

Remember running Orbonne Monastery... an UNGODLY amount of times... just to get the Ivalician Sky Pirate's Hat... just one goddamn hat... and I eventually got it... and you know what? It was worth it. That hat is the most recognizable part of my character and I adore it.

My brother literally has had farmer outfits for reaper since it released. He's never done anything other than that. No edginess. No black. No coats. He's a farmer. He's even using the basic scythe.
Also, before they added the "getting one piece of gear for your role upon completion" thing, I spent almost a year and a half farming for the Skallic Coat of Fending...only for them to add a craftable version that dyes way better a month later when Endwalker dropped.

you think thats bad? Try setting up a 45 man Savage raid which requires people to dish money for items require runnning the raid and running it multiple times to get the glam, id do Eureka grinding any time than having to coordinate DRS post launch.
Fortunetely (or not) 90% of savage/ultimate glams are dog-shit, especially weapons so I never felt need to do them, being a glam freak I am.
Only new WAR hammer from P4s savage is something I would like to have but 1 glam is not worth weeks of grinding and going through pain of finding static.
I was hoping for new Ult weapons to not be again low resolution low effrot "SLAP THE LIGHT EFFECT AND INCREASE SHARPNESS!!!" ones, but yeah, garbage again.
Eureka armor is still my fav for most epic glams.
@@honestbenny youre not a glam freak lol because you would know there are alot of timeless/staple pieces in alot of savage content and old pieces that have had resurgence because newer pieces have retroactively made some of those older pieces better because lack of good matching pieces and new dyes.
@@honestbenny hard disagree. Alexander, Omega, Eden, and Pandaemonium savage all have some fantastic glamour pieces. I love collecting glamour pieces from past and current savage raids.
@@treebush I am, just because I have different taste than you doesn't made me any less glam freak. I agree with previous poster that Alexander has great pieces, especially weapons. But I find 9/10 savage stuff shit compare to stuff you can get else where. Not to mention that many just dye horribly and are terrible to pair with everything. If you visit eorzacollection you can see that majority of top/best glams almost never use anything from savage/ultimates becasue they are just not that good for glams.
Shadowbringers had good pieces, but most dye horrible sadly and I use Edengate pieces for paladin glams but savage versions were totally unnecessary since they dye horribly.
There is a difference between making good glam from many pieces and slapping a set and calling it a glam.
@@ekn4514 I agree on Alexander. I partially agree on Eden as Eden pieces are nice, but savage version (dyeable) dye horribly, making effort totally not worth it. Omega is ok, though for very very specific glams. Pandaemonium I don't find anything interesting or epic there, apart from WAR hammer. Very generic and without any staple in design.
ohh eureka. I am currently at the end stages of Pyros because ever since I saw the pyros sam blade I knew I needed it. Luckily it is something my gf and I do casually together so it has actually been a very fun experience so far. Also helps that she is a healer ! Yep I feel this. As a glamour and mount enthusiast I spent around a month grinding nothing but Eureka for the glowy armor and Ozma mount. If I had a soul left I would say it was whole

1:26 you don't need third party software to try something on you see in world: click on player>examine>go to the piece>try on. you could even "save outfit" and then try on other stuff with it to see how different pieces will look with it

I had to facepalm, declaring: "UUuuuugh, Eureka..."
I feel this. I did the elemental fending grind right before endwalker came out. And before THAT I did the zodiac weapon for PLD. Over a month of grinding
Sir. Your pain. I feel your pain, but in a different way. While I am a Glamor ho myself, the problem was that I was hunting Triple Triad cards for the mount and about a half dozen of them are Eureka related and did require me to get to Hydatos.
To that end, I wound up incidentally leveling up two sets of Artifact armor (I have the shiny Fending chest) and the majority of my Bard Relic weapon. I still have yet to finish Euereka, but there is.. there is a mount.
As for glamour pain, when Orbonne Monastary was new, I ran it 7 times in a row in one day for a hat I wound up never using (And did not drop) over the course of the next few weeks (I'm not entirely clear on the timeframe but I know I got the Aiming chest, hands, feet, legs before ever seeing the hat when I COULD get it, so at least a month). By the time the hat finally dropped, I had better things to glam with, and as a typical Miqo female, I am skeptical of any hat that hides my ears.
I KNEW THE SECOND I saw the video title it was like oh yeP Eureika I'm sorry my brotha.
I must go down this path myself for the relic weapon for AST pray for my own journey back to that hellscape.

I get you. I have been playing this since ARR and the things I have done for glamour purposes....make me question my own sanity.
Glamour is the true endgame and this video proves it.
this video is probably older than when i actually started Eureka in EW and it really wasn't bad for me... Could be that Crystal, having most of the CAFE people in there that organize BA runs, will inevitably help the process if you join at the right times; but it took me less than 2 weeks to complete one weapon, and then it was a few more sessions for the armor i wanted... I did end up grinding it a lot more since it was a super fun experience for me, ending with a few +2 full sets or armor and weapon, but still... 😅
I went through Antique Caladbolg to Xiphitos Eureka (Base one looks so much cooler then the glowing step, Pagos and Hydatos were the worst steps) and Pyros Guillotine and it was just outright misery ;w; (I did also Fending and Maiming Elemental body armors and helmets when I worked for SMN and WHM Eureka relics and BA clear for Ozma).
This reminds me of that time when I decided it would be perfectly fine to do the entire Anima relic questline for Terpander Lux... a solid 2 months of hell that I will never get back but hey, I got that cute Anima minion + imo the best bard weapon glam in the entire game. Also! Thank god I did it before they took off the aether oil quest in one of the patches so lol
Eureka, a place of challenge and cooperation, of working towards a goal with friends and strangers, what a wonderful place.
All I got was people deliberately pulling bosses to deny other people a chance at the low drop chance loot while spewing non-stop toxic bile into the general chat to make everyone else feel as terrible as possible no matter whether they kept trying or gave up. What a horrible, terrible, awful place.
Watching this again, and turns out between my first viewing and today, i ended up getting all the way to pyros for the monk feathered hat for an Alucard cosplay.

6 months? That’s nice. I once really wanted to get the full Field Commander’s Set. And after 3 years of constant burn out, I finally got it. And am not using it for any of my glamors. Now that’s the true endgame. Getting shit you’re never going to use.
I did DRS just to get the dyable version of the armor set. The Augmented Law's Order Chestpiece of Fending is now one of my most prized possessions.

I wish FF14 would utilize a system that let's us look at all armor, weapons, and mounts so we can see everything (and it can tell us where to get it). If there's a weapon or armor piece that has multiple versions, just have them in a sub section.

I haven’t played very far into the trial and it will probably be a long time before I play the full game. But let’s be real - my main motivation is to put together cool glamour sets. I think some of the Aglaia and Orbonne Monastery chest pieces looks great. But I’ve heard horror stories about going for alliance raid gear. There’s also a Paladin relic I want from Bozja, but I’ve heard that it isn’t quite as bad as Eureka?

Late to the party, but i feel this. For a week straight all i did was run Grand Cosmos for the fending helm, though it never dropped. A few days afterwards while running dailies i get Grand Cosmos and the helm drops. Unluckily for me i was running sage and not a tank so i didn't end up getting it, and haven't seen it drop since then 😔
Eureka is great, its just you were beelined on one goal. Eureka unlocks so many neat trinkets you probably got along the way ;D
After doing 128 runs of Scalla for some healer pants back in ShB, I knew the true pain of the desire for glam. But even that, would be preferable to Going past Anemos in Eureka for anything.
I mean…I’m having a blast in Eureka. Not everyone’s. Up of tea. I get it. But to your viewers, I would definitely recommend trying it out. It’s a lot of replayable content

I find myself pretty much only playing the game for glams, and I'm not anywhere near any sort of endgame content. Still at the start of EW, and I've been working on relics on and off for a while along side some PvP (though I played a lot of PvP pre-6.0 because I just thought it was fun). Currently up to Pyros @ Eureka, I kind of like the Eureka content, but its a bit more of a grind than I expected it to be; still isn't worse than some of the things I had to grind for in other games, but definitely a grind on FFXIV terms.

What katana is that in the samurai section with you pulling all the Yukinkos? Ive gone through a lot of the katanas on the sites and cannot find that one. Its amazing and I would love to craft a glamour around it. Or own it anyway. Also amazing video! Top quality content
