Sir no use of even transfer of technology until and unless u don’t produce raw materials from scratch to finish in your country…for instance u are producing nuts and bolts locally but the raw material which is steel wire is 100 percent imported another example is tyres tubes batteries and wheel rims ..there producing 100 percent locally with 100 percent imported raw material and with 100 percent imported machineries and tools for that you have to pay technical collaboration fee in dollars to principal and then for their maintenance of plant and machinery you have to hire foreign technical staff and you have to pay them in dollars moreover all automotive assemblers are paying hefty royalties to their principals …so nothing will be changed until u don’t mine raw materials in your country …yet alone transfer of technology will not pay off..
