  • In this video we'll share how SpeedCove meets the Environmental Health Department's code requirement for "integral", "sanitary base", and how it is very different than the common multi colored rubber vinyl cove base products. The def. of Integral is: "a water & chemical proof joint between the wall & the floor". And "Integral" covebase is required any where there is "open food" or "bodily fluids"... That would usually be in the kitchen, food prep, food storage, and the bathrooms. Or anywhere the floors get messy and need to be mopped often. Hope this helps you make the right decision for your future projects!

Hi Doug, One thing I noticed is you only mentioned epoxy as a coating over it. May want to consider mentioning other coatings like polyaspartic, polyurethane, urethane, MMA .... i say this because when we specify Speedcove, client may do some research and then question why we are putting a different coating over it and if that is allowed.
