Good Afternoon. I have a question for you. I want to make slippers but don’t have chunky yarn (lots of 4ply). Can I use 4 ply? It looks like it will be very small. Do I have to adjust the stitches to get right size or adjust both yarn and needle?
Hi, it's definitely doable, but if you're using 4 ply yarn instead of chunky yarn for your slippers, you'll need to adjust both the yarn and the needle size to get the right size. Since 4 ply yarn is thinner than chunky yarn, you'll need to use a smaller needle size and cast on more stitches to compensate for the difference in thickness.😊
