Mining industry to any country no doubt will boost it's economy and provide a lucrative employment to many, but the benefits surely short-live of which the environment will be adversely affected. The forest will be denuded, mine wastes with harmful chemicals will pollute waterways once a source of livelihood in the locality. There will come a time that the once beautiful and scenic green landscape will be left in exploited disarray which can no longer be reversed. It is a fact that here are so many big mining companies in the country that closed leaving the site devastated and people suffering from health issues caused by the disposal of harmful chemicals from the mining process. I worked in one of the biggest mines in our country and enjoyed the good life it gave, but sad to say the destruction to mother nature and people is immensely heartbreaking after sometime. What is money if it wil lead to exploitation and destruction of the beautiful and uncomplexicity of the country you love so dearly? Learn from the lessons other minefields taught us.
