The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary (2020 remix edit)

Has there ever been a rock track that reaches as close to pure sonic perfection as "She Sells Sanctuary"?
I think not.
This is actually the second time I've tossed around parts of this song to make a longer version. The first time 'round I just did a basic re-edit of the existing long version on 12" single with the aim of making it generally more dance-club oriented.
Here I took the song apart using stems to make a just generally more-intense production. Unfortunately, I could only get my hands on stems for the 7" single edit, not the full song, which really imposed some limitations on where I could go with this mix. Still, I love pairing "Sanctuary" down to just a guitar or bass line ... as diamond-sharp as the guitar line is, the bass marks out just as hard and driving a groove.
