My hat is off to you, Sir. Anyone who has raced at that track must have pretty big balls... and you fed the King a wheel! That must have got the heart rate up!
Man i miss these days, growing up in Syracuse i can remember hearing them from my house, even more impressive in person. Sprints and Mods on the moody mile, youll never EVER see that again. Good thing i still have those childhood memories inscrpicted in my mind.
hard to watch these old races knowing the fate of the fair grounds and the shady deals that ended racing on wes moodys mile damn sad how greedy and despicable people become when a few bucks are waved in there face
Sammy was, and is, a very poor sport. This year at the world finals he was mad at Ian Madsen for no reason other than getting beat on the start. Under the first caution he beat on Ian's bumper so much the officials parked him. He wasn't missed.
@@pauljstod8804 no surprise. It's why I was such a big Steve Kinser fan. I was at Lebanon Valley speedway in NY one time with my dad, as a 9 year old kid. Steve had a bad night, got caught up in a wreck and finished next to last. I wanted an autograph but my dad said "he's had a tough night so be understanding." Steve nor only gave me an autograph on my t-shirt but showed us the inside of his hauler. I told him I would root for him to win the next race and he smiled saying "perfect, I'll keep that with me tomorrow!" Never rooted for anyone else until he retired! P.s. he won the next night!
A really great race, I managed to stay in front of Kinser for a while. I show up at 25:00 driving my yellow #39 sprintcar
