This is interesting considering not only is Luna canonically more skilled than Celestia but her blue colors suggest a MUCH hotter heat radiance since whites and blues are hotter stars than reds and oranges and yellows. One thing I am confused by is the trope to giving Luna dragon wings. Wouldn't this ruin the jarring transformation sequence? Granted it would be so much more gorey than normal but what else can you expect when you make her a bat pony instead of an alicorn?

I don't want to make a bat out of the alicorn. I did so based on the fact that Nightmare Moon has slightly different wings, similar to those of a dragon, and Luna has a tendency to turn into Nightmare Moon
and again for that matter, Luna is the princess of the night, and bats are nocturnal creatures)
