David Lynch, Madonna jigsaw puzzle, The Craft DVD, Cure's Disintegration & channeling Kurt Cobain? Romance in mixtapes!!!! I knew there was a reason I loved her music.
Love her. If anyone out there hasn't heard her stuff, check it out, she's fantastic. Desert Man, Sunday Love, What's a A Girl To Do and Daniel are my favourites.
What's a Girl to Do and Wilderness are my faves! I'm listening to the song from her new album (which I found out was The Hunger) at the end of this video and it slaps, putting it in rotation immediately.
I'm a simple woman, I see Bat for Lashes, I click. I've loved her music since I was a teenager. Even better, she picked Disintegration by The Cure?! Hell yes! Plainsong was my moody anthem for my early 20's (can't believe I have to say that now). I didn't know she'd come out with a new album, I must go play immediately
I miss people like Bowie too. He was never going for the low-hanging fruit. I also love her hand drawn aesthetic on her new album. That rules. And lastly, making a cassette for somebody is love. Blessings!
I saw Bats for lashes open for Depeche Mode. They were incredible. She has amazing taste. The lost highway soundtrack is one of my faves too. Love her!!
What a great episode! I was not familiar with Natasha before but this is such a great example of how wonderful What's In My Bag can be, when someone picks stuff, music or otherwise, that is meaningful for them and talks to us about it. So sincere and insightful!
Excellent selections! That's usually how I shop in a record store. I don't do well with too many choices and can get overwhelmed by it. So even if I go in with a plan I almost always end up with a hodgepodge of many different types of items and often end up putting things back when I find something else cooler.
Wow just when I thought I couldnt love her/identify with her/relate to her any more then she literally whips out my entire upbringing. ❤ also I love Lost Girls I must listen to it several times a week
Hi, Natasha!! It's amazing because we like all the same stuff you said In your shopping!! And I love your music too! My God, hopefully we'll meet someday if you would come to play in Barcelona (Spain)!!
She is definitely a kindred soul, all of that stuff I would have pick as well, I have been blessed in this lifetime to see her Bat For Lashes in concert, as well as Madonna, The Cure. David Bowie was on my bucket list, but past away before I had the chance to see him, but is my muse through the art I do, and inspires me through my dreams. And Kate Bush I would love to see as well, but heard she afraid to fly, so unless I go to the UK and she does a concert again, I’m out of luck, I’m a big cult classic movie fan and Lynch is way up on my list. She is definitely Gen X , and her music is deeply influenced by that era, generation X is the best.❤
She is absolutely lovely and has great taste, as well :) looking forward to checking out her music. This was a nice departure from last weeks’ super grim Fat Mike episode 😂
Dear Natasha if you ever read this you shoud check out The Legendary Pink Dots, Tear Garden and especially Edward Ka-Spel his heavy London fog style is the epitome of English singing voice
She's great. Crazy, she likes basically exactly the same stuff as me. I guess it makes some sense since I am the same demographic, same age, grew up in same part of the UK etc as her. Interestingly I found her music before I realised any of this though
Cure-wise she covered A Forrest as a B-side on her Daniel single. There's an upload on RUclips. A nice touch, as I think it was an admission that she'd kinda borrowed aspects of their song for hers, as all good musicians and artists should with no need to hide it.
Teen Wolf is classic. Love the coach. "There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese."
I love her so much. Her albums have been the soundtrack to some epic chapters of my life.
David Lynch, Madonna jigsaw puzzle, The Craft DVD, Cure's Disintegration & channeling Kurt Cobain? Romance in mixtapes!!!! I knew there was a reason I loved her music.
She has great taste
also great taste in movies she has
Her taste is perfection.
She has such a nice speaking voice.
the way she says, "shitily" so good! 8:56

Bat for lashes what wasn't she on terrible band name.
I love her
They arent a band..bat for lashes is HER@@gordon7462
She seems so sweet. What a charming and beautiful lady.
I don't know if this woman does ASMR, but she should. What a soft, soothing voice!
You should hear her sing
Disintegration, Bowie, Lynch, horror & mixtapes... I love this. She's got wonderful taste.
Natasha is such a warm and intelligent person. Such great taste too. I was literally shouting "Yes!" at most of her choices here.
“I guess he talked back through inspiration.”
Beautiful ❤️
She's a great singer and songwriter. Love her music. She looks very young here, thinking that she was 40 at that moment.
She needs to record an audiobook!
That voice of hers is the nicest thing I've ever heard.
That was one of my all time favourite “what’s in my bag?” Great choices , great descriptions on why , and fantastic artist ❤️❤️❤️
Saved to my ASMR playlist thank you very much.
OMG, I could literally listen Her forever. She is so full of peace, calm and pure good. Healing.
This is your best one Amoeba. Natasha is ace.
She has amazing taste. It’s no wonder she’s put out such great music.
Love her. If anyone out there hasn't heard her stuff, check it out, she's fantastic. Desert Man, Sunday Love, What's a A Girl To Do and Daniel are my favourites.
Not gonna do it that way
What's a Girl to Do and Wilderness are my faves! I'm listening to the song from her new album (which I found out was The Hunger) at the end of this video and it slaps, putting it in rotation immediately.

her voice is so therapeutic
I miss people like Bowie too. He was never going for the low-hanging fruit. I also love her hand drawn aesthetic on her new album. That rules. And lastly, making a cassette for somebody is love. Blessings!
I like how she picked a lot of different things other than vynil
@Jacob Pertou In the same vein as hyperbolic ruminations of unsound hypotheses, but of course only in the eye of the beholder.
Bat for Lashes - Sunday Love is my fav record on a Sunday morning drive
I saw Bats for lashes open for Depeche Mode. They were incredible. She has amazing taste. The lost highway soundtrack is one of my faves too. Love her!!
Nice bill
I'm jealous. 2 of my favorites. Depeche Mode definitely top 3 for me
What a great episode! I was not familiar with Natasha before but this is such a great example of how wonderful What's In My Bag can be, when someone picks stuff, music or otherwise, that is meaningful for them and talks to us about it. So sincere and insightful!
Perfect episode. Natasha and I have similar tastes. She is a few years younger but we must have been influenced by a lot of the same things.
It’s crazy...everything she picked are things I love. The Lost Highway soundtrack is one of my favorites!!
Scott Walker sang on one of her records!
Yep. The legend himself.
Natasha is the kind of person that I just want to hang out with over the weekend and talk pop culture with.
Manic-pixie-girl-next-door. 🖤

She's such a darling.
Thank you for inviting her on! Natasha is so lovely
In love with her voice. Great taste too.
She s so beautiful
Cool girl. How could you not like her? I'm a guitar guy, but the Numanoid analogue synths, plus Kate Bush creativity - I love it 🌴
Ok but literally all my faves! Including her! We have so much in common can’t wait to work with her one day!
Excellent selections! That's usually how I shop in a record store. I don't do well with too many choices and can get overwhelmed by it. So even if I go in with a plan I almost always end up with a hodgepodge of many different types of items and often end up putting things back when I find something else cooler.
She's an angel.

I think I have a new crush.
Wow just when I thought I couldnt love her/identify with her/relate to her any more then she literally whips out my entire upbringing. ❤ also I love Lost Girls I must listen to it several times a week

I recommend hills have eyes. The 2005 one.
One of my favourite horror films ever. I remember the first time I watched and feeling genuinely terrified for that family. It’s so visceral
How cool is Natasha 😍
I adore her.
Maybe she will cover a track from " Disintegration " Overall , she has good taste.
Cure-wise she covered A Forrest as a B-side on her Daniel single. There's an upload on RUclips. A nice touch, as I think it was an admission that she'd kinda borrowed aspects of their song for hers, as all good musicians and artists should with no need to hide it.
@@Doofgreed Thanks , I will give it a listen. 👍
Disintegration...a really great album of melancholy sprinkled with hope. My go-to cd when depressed.
“…best album EVER!” The South Park squad
Teen Wolf is classic. Love the coach. "There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.
