Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanille is my all-time favorite. I can't afford it really, so I wear a close dupe by Be Layered, Sweet Spirit. Also Kayali Vanilla 28, a sweet floral vanilla.
Still looking for one that will knock my socks off. I think my Hypnotic Poison EDT and my Kenzo Amour are the most straight forward vanillas in my collection. I am very intrigued by Nuit et Confidences based on your review here.
Have you ever tried Van cleef and arpels orchidee vanille? I got this one for my mum for her birthday who is vanilla obsessed. It smells like a more sophisticated version of kayali vanilla, with a lot more going on x
I briefly tried it on a trip to London, but because I was smelling so many perfumes that day I think my nose was overwhelmed! I’ll need to give it another try (properly) :)
Libre Le Parfum by Ysl is stunning in every way possible! It is closely followed by Givenchy l'interdit Intense which agreed feels very unique, this is also a compliment getter projects really well and just makes me feel that little bit more special whenever I wear it. Oh and Lancome La Nuit Trésor à la folie is lovely, however I find it doesn't last long at all on me which is a little disappointing.
I love your reviews. The only down side: you inspire me to spend too much money. Lol. But… NO REGRETS! I agree with you on the Tom Ford line. I had Black Orchid and it was way too masculine on me, so I gave it to my ex boyfriend. Velvet Orchid is much nicer on me, but it’s merely a like, not a love. The only reason I keep that one is because I want to keep a Tom Ford in my collection. I have not had the chance to get my nose onto noir.
My favorite new vanilla is Andalusian Soul by Merchant of Venice. Stunning Murano glass bottle as well! The brand site describes the notes as, “refined and fresh acacia, elegant and sensual vanilla, and intense amber, further enriched by touches of cistus and rum. The sublime mix of precious and refined raw materials is made even more fascinating by balsamic accords and aromatic sage. The alcohol-based head notes are reminiscent of the beverages made in ancient times in Malaga, and much sought-after in all European courts.”
Nuit et confidence reminds me of Nirvana Bourbon by Elizabeth & James with some added light flora notes. It's a stunner. So are a lot of other ones in this list!
I can never have enough vanillas! My issue with vanillas is many only include this note in the base so you really don't get that much vanilla. But these sound lovely! Love Kayali Vanilla 28, I just ordered Kyse Marshmallow and the new By Rosie Jane Dulce to review and can't wait. The new Libre Le Parfum is so sexy but the vanilla is more in the background like many. Same with By the Fireplace. I actually quite like Victoria's Secret Creme Cloud. It's a grown vanilla imo. I need that first one that you said is a bit smokey! 😊
Oh I also love salty vanillas for the summer like Vanilla Vibes so these sound great! Have you tried Orchidee Vanilla or Micallef's Vanilla? Those 2 are on my list to try too
Is it definitely fresh, but not aquatic :) it’s a luxurious multilayered salty vanilla scent with a woody and aromatic touch! Thanks for watching Lally 💕

Ooh Creme Cloud sounds so nice 😍
You have to try Dior Addict
From it's name i imagined bleu turquoise to be an aquatic freshie 😊
Misnomer 🤷♀️
