Another thing I like with the wooden burnisher is to stick the skinny end in my drill and have it spin on the edges. Don’t have to but it does help slick it up!
That’s some great info. I’ve got a question have you ever used beeswax on the edges.? And what grit of sandpaper do you use for your final edge sanding?
@@Cooks-carvings I have used bees wax. Works well. I found that the tokonol works better. Wish I had more in the video to show how well it works. I don’t know the grit on the sandpaper. I buy a package of different sandpapers that are a progression at Hobby Lobby and I’d assume the last sandpaper I use it about a 1500 or 2000 grit
I use tikinol and I was watching some leather working shop that used beeswax on it after he said it helped fill in any small holes. So I was just wondering because your edges look great.
