@@feliciapattinson9591 It has to be Washington state, in the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle. One video had the store in Ardenvoir. Plus, she talked about going on a road trip to the ocean, then south to Oregon.
Isabel... I want you to know I’m a 65 year old woman (this month) who loves your videos. I wish I’d had your courage, sense of self, and direction when I was your age. You are the me I wasn’t brave enough to be. Never doubt yourself...you’re getting it all right.
Hey Susan, I am 62yrs old and doing it alone on a property so I want to encourage you that it is never too late! You go girl! Much love gal from Aus💚🐎🌳
I’m 55 now and You remind me of ME when in my 20’s Isabel..I lived near the beach actually on the beach...and I would swim in the ocean during rainstorms at night and it would make me scream out in ecstasy just like YOU DO! It would amaze me how beautiful it was and sometimes I’d cry because I was so impressed and taken with joy from nature.
Isabel, I’ve learned from a book about Ayurveda, that there is a sanskrit word for the quiet and peaceful time before sunrise you described - its called Brahma Muhurta. It’s one and a half hours before sunrise. Literally it means "The Creator's time", it is considered the best time for all spiritual practices like yoga/meditation/prayers etc. Sadhguru says that when you spontaneously wake up around that time, you are falling in sync with life and nature, which is beautiful. I also love being awake during that time, it feels like you’re the only one in the universe, very powerful and calming. All the love to you and everyone reading!
yes,my mom is a huge follower of sadhguru, and she always tried to wake up at 3am(she does fail to do it sometimes too) but her passion to do yoga and eing able to devote herself to her guru is truly inspiring. Speaking of which, today she is in Coimbatore with sadhguru and other devotees.I hope you stay happy and content with yourself :)
You are still young and have done so much already. The pandemic is just a blip in all our lives and it will at some point be just a memory. You bring sunshine into so many of our lives and you can be proud of that. Your journey is progressing, don't worry. You will find fulfilment and love. In the meantime, enjoy your world, love your family and friends and stay safe :)
Gareth? I agree. I think we all get bombarded with "negative self-talk" if we "allow" our minds to torture us in this way. Personally, I struggle with thoughts of "what if my life has been all WRONG" and every choice and decision I have ever made has been WRONG?"......we constantly have to "manage our thoughts" and choose to not listen to anything NEGATIVE that our mind likes to throw out at us to mull over:-/ I love, love, love! Isabel's lifestyle and I think she is doing exceptionally well for herself and out there LIVING HER BEST LIFE EVER!!!!
You are just an awesome being. I'm a 41 year old man, and this is the last thing I thought I would be watching, but your positivity, warm nature, and just sweetness is so addicting. You simplify life and help us watching appreciate this world more. Good for you and stay positive because there is bunches of us rooting for you
40 years ago, if you asked me what I wanted to be in life. My answer was I don't know. "I think I'll try different things". I have never regretted it. The things you own in life end up owning you if you're not careful. Attachment is the root of all suffering. Be free, life is meant to be experienced. And that experience is uniquely yours. Understanding that all we have is this moment is reallity. The rest is gone or yet to be. You are on a amazing journey. 🙏
“Attachment is the root of all suffering”.... well said Will.... food for thought.... you’ve just given me my new mantra... it’s time to let things go and be free...thank you...😊❤️✌️🙏
You are my hero! I am 68 and I truly believe in what you are doing!!! I am an artist after 40 years of working trauma surgery. I am finally living the way I want! I have struggled too and am alone, but Awareness has lessened the feeling of being alone. You are my hero🙏🦋 ( And let me add that with a name like Maurice...I am a woman😂)

I can only imagine your success in 10 years...several cookbooks, millions of subscribers, tiny house green house, books on herbal remedies and so on keep doing you!
Same, I absolutely love her routine and do the same when I'm out in the mountains, and close to it when I'm home on the coast. I often think of her when I'm outside at 4 or 4:30am or even earlier! I love how she talks about how the pre dawn and dawn world feels, it is that exact space that my spirit perpetually goes to. 🌿💚🌿
A well-meaning tip for keeping your flowers alive for longer: Don't use scissors to cut them, because they will squeeze the stems. Use a Knife and cut the stems diagonally to make the surface bigger, from whitch they can drink. Also put a little bit of sugar (1/2 of a teaspoon for 1l) and a copper coin into the water. This will keep them from rotting for longer. Changing the water every other day helps too. With this i get most of my garden flowers to last at least 2 weeks. =)
Hi Isabel :) I am a 20-year-old girl living in the mountains of Spain (I am not originally from here). I just wanted to drop by and tell you how much I love your content. Your videos have very unique energy to them and I find you truly inspiring. I relate to so many of your feelings and thoughts. I admire your determination to follow your own path and it makes me feel less lonely as I walk my own. I also wanted to tell you that I have really appreciated when you share about your hardships and mental health as well, as I so love the rawness and embracing every aspect of being a messy human. Though, I understand that sharing your life on the internet can be frightening. I just wanted to send this little message or appreciation :) So much love from a fellow mountain girl.
@@abella11 Hi Annabella :) I don't mind sharing. Me and my mother spent a big part of our lives in Finland. Years ago she got into a bad car accident and spent 6 years recovering. Once her final surgery was done we both knew we wanted a fresh start. We both love nature and sun so we collected just enough money to buy tickets for us and our animals and to rent a place in Spain. From there on we started building our lives in this new country. It took a while to find jobs, sort everything out, learn the language, get to know people, etc. It was very hard at first as I left everything I knew behind but I am so happy with the decision. Now we have been here for a bit more than 2 years and I am so thankful for the leap of faith we took. Much love from here, I wish you good luck on your own journey.
@@feliciapattinson9591 I guessed MN but someone said it’s Washington, then I saw a car plate that was WA. So it’s possible the northwestern state of WA.
A rescue dog will give you all the company that you need and will pick you up during those low times when you do not film. It would also give you the practice and sense of responsibility that you will need when you become a mother. You will be the greatest Mum of all time and i hope i live long enough to see you walking up the mountain with your little ones and bathing in the river together. x
Seriously. I've been waiting for this....! Money is abundance, money is freedom, money allows you to be a better version of yourself, allows you to let go of stress and step into full-on creative potential. Money is not evil, and more spiritual people should start recognizing that so they can step more into their potential!
@@kelseyjanae1 LoL, sounds like a nice foundation to transition into a prosperity doctrine lifestyle, or at least adjacent to one. That's nice for you, Kelsey. I've been wondering how long she was gonna keep her channel free of ads... that was the TRUE breath of fresh air. We all have to shill for something, don't we?
I went for the biochemistry route and now I’m a burnt out 26 year old grad student living in a gross city frustrated with the disconnect between the scientific field and our experiences as humans. And I also don’t enjoy spending 10hrs/day in a lab writing down numbers. So many of the world’s problems come from money and greed and overblown egos...it seeps into almost everything including academia and makes me want to run away. But your channel Isabel is a bright light for me! You are so inspiring and wise and you know how to bring me a much-needed piece of nature and happiness through your videos and storytelling. It helps me hang in there while I figure out what I want to do with my own life. And it is totally okay to have suffering mixed in with the joy, and you don’t need to show it if you don’t want to. But thank you for opening up to us and being vulnerable. I wish you the best ❤️
If any of your windows lets in 6-8 hours of sunlight make an herb garden right on the inside of the window. Easy for you to access and keep creatures from eating them. You could put a shelf across the window to hold the herb garden. That way you don t lose space on floor or counters
My 16 year old son is an old soul...like you. I used to say he was born in the wrong century. But I have come to realize, that's not true. We need you, born now to keep us reminded where we have come from. Thank you!!💕💕
Isabel your wisdom is beyond a woman of 22 yrs, with god's gift, experience and vast knowledge of life you can lecture in Universities, the world needs a person like you to show others the way, one day you will gain lots of success.🕊️
@@alisamrk they aren't sad, just realistic. Props to Isabel for being able to live the life that she dreams of, but she's not some yogi who just unlocked the secret to higher living. She's a young adult living in a cabin in the woods, as many before her have and still do.
"Take care of my Parents in their old age" That hit me so hard! Where im from this is pretty much normal but to see someone from a culture where the Elderly are taken to Oldpeople homes blows me away. My respect for you just shot up to the moon! Raised right!
I did it for 16 years. It is rewarding and the right thing to do but it is also extremely challenging, especially when they slowly slide into dementia.
@@torrenyou Thank you very much but I must say that because I took care of them until the end, one thing I had to give up was having a family of my own. My girlfriend at the time was very wonderful and one of the most understanding people in the world but she got tired of waiting and being put in second place to my parents' needs. She is now married to someone else. However, I can still say that I have a very good and fortunate life. Again, many thanks. ; )
@@nevarez7L Oh, I think that ship has long since sailed. I'm the youngest and my mum had me at 41 and my dad was 47. Growing up, I never saw them as anything but old and kids often teased me with, "Is that your dad or your grandfather?" So, I always wanted to have kids very young and not be an old dad. Too late, I'm now far older than my dad was when he had me and I couldn't do that to a child. Thank you though, for the positive note. Cheers ; )

At 22 years of age, you have achieved more than most adults in their lifetime. I love the way that you live life. It's OK to be sad sometimes commas just remember the peace and tranquillity of for your living.
Man....my heart sank when I saw you put your herbs in without cover or fencing, because I knew, from experience, they would be eaten! Critters will eat anything green and tender in the early spring. Nothing is completely rabbit or deer proof, except for plants that are actually toxic like daffodils and foxgloves.

As a 37 year old hearing you talk so wisely about life for a 22 year old makes me smile. You are one of a kind that's for sure. Maybe you need to continue sharing that wisdom with your generation. I know so many people are struggling mentally now and your videos bring so much peace and calmness. All is well and our paths will unfold as they should. xx
Dee? Right? We all have to "allow our lives to unfold" and "enjoy the process".......at 22 years old? I was buried in Glamour and Vogue magazines, make-up, fake nails, spray tans, and hair extensions! and never had the wisdom, insight, courage, perception, talent, gifts, and natural abilities that Isabel possesses. She is AMAZING!!! and my hero:-)
Beautiful in and out, honest, open, refreshing. Im 66 but watching her youthful exuberance and unfolding brings me back to the days, when Carole King was the soundtrack, Living on the Earth by Alicia Bay Laurel was the guide, the mountains were the goal, hiking boots, peasant blouses and backpacks were the standard. I love her zest and amazement; reminds me it's still in me under all the life experience that piles on over the years...keep it real forever, young sister!
Every time I see these hill climbing montages I can't help but appreciate that you have to keep setting the camera, walking up the hill, walking back down the hill to get the camera, and then walking back up the hill again.
No plans, let God lead you and you will always be in the right place at the right time. I promise, I’m 70 and have experienced a wonderful life.❤️❤️❤️❤️
quotation " I really do feel very strongly about the idea of not forcing life to go the way you want it to but being open to letting things happen as they may. I think when you try to force life to go how you want it to, inevitably it usually doesn't go that way... and then you're suffering. But when you approach it with a sense of knowing that life will lead you to where you need to be, it almost just lets go of all of stress." and now you got me struggling with my thoughts
If ever there was a video that shows all you need to know about this young women, this is it. How she thrives in nature, industrious, fearless, willing to do it all. Outstanding work ethic mixed with free spirit.
I love this Indian proverb “sometimes the wrong train takes you to the right station”. This pandemic brought forth such contradiction, a lot of hardship and challenges yet the greatest time of my life. It made me fall in love with nature again and find such solace in Mother Earth. I think our most important work is to feel good and the rest will come ❤️
Ha! Isabel, absolutely wonderful content! My dad died of lung cancer age 47 in 1975. I was 17ish, failing at school, with ease. I left Ontario for the West. Ended up wintering over in Utah as a ski bum, whatever. A “friend” let me stay at his log cabin, no power, no plumbing, a mile up from the plowed road... Being alone with your thoughts, lonely, and surviving, brings clarity and a certain amount of real life maturity that a lot of people just can not comprehend on the best of their off days. I didn’t get back to school until I was 26, and only because it was a hurdle that needed to be covered before moving forward. But, by then I knew how to surmount those obstacles because of where I had come from. Convoluted, but just keep living and moving forward, and you are well on your way to whatever makes you happy. Finding a compatible love-mate will be the toughest hill to climb, but it will work out. Wishing you nothing but the best.
Truly inspiring. I was the same in my 20’s. Moved to Hawaii with a bike. Ended up meeting my husband and had to beautiful children and 4 gorgeous grandchildren. College is so over rated. Even though I have my degrees, I’ve learned more by learning skills, yoga, massage, herbal and plant healing, plumbing Etc. I fall asleep in the most blissful state watching your videos. 🙏💜
I honestly think RUclips should not have a thumbs down option. Anytime you feel down try to imagine yourself in someone else’s shoes and that should cheer you up immediately knowing your life and outlook is so much more fulfilling
Girl your story was inspiring - you are so right - life doesn’t always go as you plan - I’m a first time home owner at 40... but I inherited my Dads home after he past 5 years ago, I renovated it and work part time at a local grocery store and love my job - 5 years ago I wouldn’t thought this would be my life but I like to think he’s proud of my changes I made ;) from Atlanta Georgia
Would be cool idea to build a few of those tiny houses and open a little yoga retreat. Whatever you end up doing Im sure you will be amazing at it. I’m 60 and my brother is almost 70 and we watch your channel and we’re in awe of just how many skills you have at such a young age. Great channel Isabel thanks for making it fun to watch!
I didn't go to college because I wanted to experience life. I traveled in a van with my two kitties and I sadly let having my cats stopped me from traveling to different countries, but I ended up back home after my mom broke her hip. After I helped for few months I found myself living in my family's tiny swamp cabin on a little swampy island. I was isolated for sure and worked at the local pet store. Around this time I would drive to New Orleans to go on dates (literary on tinder just to go explore with someone, which worked because I learned how to sail through it!) in isolation i found myself, and i didn't know it then but i found the love of my life. i realized i WANTED more for myself, i felt the same in that i didn't have anything saved or didn't own anything and wanted love, i wanted more than just living day by day, I wanted to plan for my future so i enrolled in college for photography (the only thing I felt sorta capable of) after a year in school i decided to switch my major after getting Dean's list and realizing maybe i am capable of a science major if i put my mind it. now i am going to be a dietitian! (two more years and a year internship AND a major degree) and OH BOY are these bio classes hard! it consumes ALOT of my time ha, but i love learning! (i just hate test) but this video reminds me that that guilt i felt for not going right after school is silly. that wasn't my story. I didn't do yoga in bali but i lived a van with two cats and traveled(even though everything went wrong lol) and studied photography abroad in Rome- so what if started late? our stories are what make us who we are and letting go of where life is taking us is such a load off. I am happy knowing i am with the love of my life and my future career will make a difference in people's life. thats all i need. my god i had a lot to say haha
I know this is 2 years old but im about to graduate with my bachelors degree and listening to you talk about how you could always go back and figure it out first was really soothing, its like i needed to hear that i don’t have to have it all figured out immediately
I always look forward to your videos. During the pandemic, in which I could not leave my apartment, I escaped a thousand times to those beautiful mountains and was happy just watching you run and be in the middle of nature. Your videos are inspiring and fun. I admire your suitability for building, cooking and the incredible resistance to getting into a frozen lake ... I am sure that wherever life takes you will always be a blessing. Big hug from Argentina. Thank you!
Some people who never have too much quiet will crave the isolated time and some people who are alone and isolated crave companionship and interaction. It's finding your happy medium.
Holly? I agree. All of life is about "finding balance". It took me years!!!!!!!!!!!!! to learn how to eat in a restaurant without any companionship and now I love going out to places by myself! We all have to find that "balance" that makes us happy. LONELINESS is devastating at the beginning (when you first try it, if you are always used to living in a home with other siblings or roommates or just "around people" like in a big city). It's "manageable" though, and we "adapt" to our circumstances no matter what:-) I like to write in journals or take long hot bubble baths to "cope" with loneliness and the moment always passes:-) Now? I have lived alone for so long I don't think I ever even want to "cohabitate" with anyone ever again! "Alone" time has become that! enjoyable!!! Isabel seems to do very well out there on her own. I think she is just incredible! and so amazing!
Is there anything Isabel can’t do? She cooks, plants, builds, spins, and can weld. If I was younger (like much younger), I’d travel her similar journey. Isabel, go see the world and soak it up!

I’m from Victoria and grew up on the mountains (kalorama). I hope to do what you’re doing when I’m older- lovely to hear a tiny house is possible in Vic.
Hey, I wanted to say thank you for speaking about your struggles and telling us your story, I really appreciate that you choose to be vulnerable here for so many people. I think it's important to remind people that we still just see a portion of someone's life. I've followed some "influencers" in the past, but none of them were as straight forward and honest as you are. I also understand that you feel lonely, I feel like that too, and I'm just a 2 hour train drive away from family. I have idolized an isolated life in nature for a long time, thinking I just wanted to be away from people and everything. Turned out I didn't wanted to be away from people, I just wanted to be away from the system and "modern" world we created. Just like christopher mccandles said "happiness is only real when shared", at this time of my life I couldn't agree more. (I am 24 by the way)
The only piece of unsolicited advice that I would give you is the following: I was so adventurous and really followed my heart in my twenties. I truly thought that was the only way that I could live. However my big mistake was that I failed to build any wealth during that decade. Then I suddenly became disabled with a debilitating chronic illness in my mid-30s and was unable to work or save any money at all. Now I have just turned 40, and I am way behind in saving for retirement. I worry what my future holds. So I would tell you to, yes, go and follow your heart, but also make sure that you are saving aggressively the amount that you need to be saving in your twenties. Because you never know what can happen. And even if you continue to be healthy, you still don't want to miss out on a whole decade or two of saving for retirement. There is a reason that people go to college and work jobs that they don't like. It's so that they won't have to be destitute and live in poverty, which I can say from personal experience really sucks. But obviously that's not good either. It's best if you can find a balance between following your heart and doing work that you're passionate about that will pay you enough to allow you to save and live a comfortable life and afford healthcare etc.
I have 32 years so far...thankfully...it is so true. I feel the changes in the world...I desire to follow my heart’s desires but I also desire stability as well...very wise woman...the free life comes with a price...
Great advice. I wish I had invested when I was younger. I also spent 3 years at a job without contributing to my 403b, without realizing, because I had not selected the right options. I avoided that world for most of my twenties because it did not feel good thinking about money in that way, making the decisions, talking to the people, doing the papers. But I wish I had gone through that small bit of discomfort in order to have secured a more stable future. I've learned that the keys to most people's early retirement or non-traditional lifestyles are passive income & investments.
I would also say that it is possible to both follow your heart and have a good career that provides for you. For example, with a science degree, there are a million jobs you can do that don't include being a lab tech. The one that comes to mind for me, as a former journalist, newspaper editor and freelance writer, is that you could do science writing. I chose freelance writing so that I could continue to travel the world while earning money and stimulating my intellect. Now that I'm sick, I'm still able to use those skills to work part-time on documentary films from home. UC berkeley has an amazing science journalism program and I bet you could get a full ride scholarship. Anyway, that's just one idea. There are a million careers that would still give you the freedom to follow your dreams. I would just hate to see someone of such promise work in low paying jobs and saving no retirement thinking that's the only path to freedom. I actually think that's not freedom at all.
I now realize that there is nothing this girl cannot do!!! Welding isn’t one of those things that you learn easily, just by the sound I could tell that she was doing a good job...and I always seem to be starving when she starts cooking with those beautiful fresh veggies, all her foods look amazing...especially that cornbread omg
Life is not suppose to be like a day planner with every little move planned out. That is boring. Life should be like a great book that never stops surprising you, never bores you, and leaves you with a warm heart and hope for a better tomorrow. You own life like a boss girl, and you just don't always see it. Your honesty is so touching and authentic. Namaste Isabel much love and respect to you girl.
It's good you talk about the reality of this type of life... people is like, ohh, you live in the mountains, you live in the woods, that's so amazing, ooohh, I envy you so much... but they don't realize how hard it is to live there.when I lived in the city with my mum, I remember to be cooking something and think, "-oh, I forgot this, or that" and you had a supermarket or anything on the same street... when you live away it's not like that, you have to take the car and drive some miles, go to the closest village, park, buy, and then take the car again, drive some miles again to go home... and you have to have some sustenibility (I don't know if it's the right word, English is not my native language)... but if I was you I would have a dog at least... actually I have one... I couldn't sleep with that window next to my bed at night, I would see shadows everywhere! so brave
This is seriously all I ever watch! One after another, over and over again, just one more Isabel. Like a drug, this is my distraction and escape from my stressful and chaotic, very unhappy life. I'm going through a traumatic divorce, and I just want to be done with it and go live in the mountains somewhere! Seriously! Watching Isabel, Logan, White, Black, and Raquel, at times, just makes everything better!! Isabel is the me that slowly disappeared in a miserable marriage! I want her back! I'm 53 now, but I know that lively, spontaneous and joyful little girl is still inside of me somewhere! Isabel is helping me find her again!!
Video not uploaded yet but just want to say sometimes I find my self seeing the world through Isabel Paige's eyes. You view of life is beautiful. I am embarking on my own 30 day 9 state road trip in 2 months.
I love how these videos appeal to all ages. From teens to me in my 50s all loving the scenery and the peacefulness and living the dream It’s so relaxing in these crazy times

It seems strange that someone so much younger than me could have the ability to say exactly what I need to hear. I definitely needed this video today. Thank you.
I LOVE all the sounds of you cutting veggies. Especially the squeakiness of the corn! And so sad about your herbs. In my experience in Montana, deer eat EVERYTHING!!!! Never believe it when they say, "Oh they never eat this plant!" They ate my rhubarb right down to the ground, killed it! I love your videos.
This video did not disappoint. This was hands down, my favorite so far. Sorry about your herbs...I built a 5 ft fence around my garden for that very reason!!! I’m very proud of you for being so young & already having more knowledge & wisdom than most people.
This past year has been difficult for many of us and disrupted so many things in life. But one of the best things of this past year is being able to see you share your story. It has truly been a gift to me and I'm sure thousands of others. Thank you for being so authentic, honest and full of joy (even though there are moments off cam that are difficult).
Isabel it’s just after 5 am here in Australia on Tuesday morning and I am really excited about watching your video as I am dealing with my mental health issues and seeing your beautiful and amazing smile makes me feel really happy so thank you again love John your number one Australia fan
Isabel, there's so many of us that feel lonely even when we have family around. Your videos make me feel better about the weird life I've been living for soooo many years. Thank you Doll
Put a mirror under your shelf and bring even more of nature inside.Your place is looking great!! I would buy your sage wraps! Love your message of letting life unfold at it's own pace.
Dear Isabel, It's wonderful seeing you learn to weld and use the drill press and angle grinder. As a long time professional welder and fabricator and log home builder for some big companies, I want to pass along some loving safety tips. Firstly, always keep your hair covered when welding, as the small sparks damage your hair. Secondly, and MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY, make sure you tie your hair back and tuck it away INSIDE THE BACK OF YOUR SHIRT to keep it well clear from moving parts such as the angle grinder and drill press. One of my coworker's hair was pulled into a bread mixer, that we used to mix other materials , and she was beyond severely injured and almost killed. Grinders and drills are unforgiving and so dangerous around long hair and loose clothing. Also, never wear gloves when using the drill press (you were not in this video thank goodness) as gloves can easily be grabbed by the drill bit and twist your hand and arm and bones will be broken and worse. Stay safe and keep sharing your awesome corner of the earth with us. :)
Mountain animals are ruthless. They eat everything. I had a really big cactus outside my back door that bloomed every spring, last summer I went out and something took a massive bite out of it. I feel your pain
I feel so at home watching your videos and then I hear you play Mariee Sioux and my heart is full. I'm moving away from the Sierra Nevada's in 2 weeks. Fire season has displaced us far too many times. I will miss this place like no other and I'll always call it home. I've been here since I was 5. I'm beyond grateful for your videos, the stories you tell are mirrors to my own. Thank you
Thank you for being so real about what you struggle with. I think this lifestyle is only shown as glamorous on RUclips when In reality you still struggle with different things. Beautiful video as always. Thank you for sharing
Well delivered and well received. You are not alone but in a boat full of folks struggling along with you. On my next birthday I will be 70 years of age, an age I couldn’t even imagine when I was 22. Life goes on. All endings bring me new beginnings. There is beauty in every day for those who seek to find it. Ask and you will be answered, seek and you will find, knock and the door will opened for you. One step at a time all things are possible. You are doing all the right things. Good luck and God bless on your journey to 70.
i've been watching your videos for a couple years now and i feel like we've grown up together a little bit, i've watched you from 3 different countries, in different phases of my life and even though we're strangers it feels we've been parallel in a lot of ways as if you're a distant sister and through these videos we're in conversation about life and all it's wonders and mysteries and (sometimes) frustrations. i feel so grateful to you Isabel, keep creating, you've inspired me to begin documenting my own 'stories' and to see everything around me as totally miraculous x
You aren’t even making RUclips videos at this point you are just making cinematic masterpieces

I often wonder why she howls. Now I know it out of ecstasy with the experience she's having... thanks
You're lucky that you enjoyed your life when you were younger and hopefully you enjoying the current period of life too.

Literally!!!

Yes you said it I just love her nature she is everything I aspire to be wow.

I went for the biochemistry route and now I’m a burnt out 26 year old grad student living in a gross city frustrated with the disconnect between the scientific field and our experiences as humans. It helps me hang in there while I figure out what I want to do with my own life. And it is totally okay to have suffering mixed in with the joy, and you don’t need to show it if you don’t want to. But thank you for opening up to us and being vulnerable. I wish you the best ❤️

That might be calm for americans. You have never seen Finnish peace of mind 😌
Around this time I would drive to New Orleans to go on dates (literary on tinder just to go explore with someone, which worked because I learned how to sail through it!) in isolation i found myself, and i didn't know it then but i found the love of my life.
i realized i WANTED more for myself, i felt the same in that i didn't have anything saved or didn't own anything and wanted love, i wanted more than just living day by day, I wanted to plan for my future so i enrolled in college for photography (the only thing I felt sorta capable of)
after a year in school i decided to switch my major after getting Dean's list and realizing maybe i am capable of a science major if i put my mind it. now i am going to be a dietitian! (two more years and a year internship AND a major degree) and OH BOY are these bio classes hard! it consumes ALOT of my time ha, but i love learning! (i just hate test)
but this video reminds me that that guilt i felt for not going right after school is silly. that wasn't my story.

The ending of this video made me want to give you a big hug, I feel the same. Remember, life isn’t a race.
(I am 24 by the way)
The only piece of unsolicited advice that I would give you is the following:
I was so adventurous and really followed my heart in my twenties.
I actually think that's not freedom at all.
your brother is a good teacher, very patient
I now realize that there is nothing this girl cannot do!!! Welding isn’t one of those things that you learn easily, just by the sound I could tell that she was doing a good job...and I always seem to be starving when she starts cooking with those beautiful fresh veggies, all her foods look amazing...especially that cornbread omg

"One day, in retrospect, the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful." Sigmund Freud. We love you so much in our house and watch all your videos... Big hug from Puerto Rico.
@Alyssa Reeder It doesn't seem to have bothered them in the slightest!!
Nope! Occasionally a cougar eats one, but usually they get hit by cars.
The yellow flowers are called Arrow Leaf Balsam Root (Commonly called Balsam). The roots have many medicinal properties that are worth looking into!
Don't force life the way you want it to, but leave things to happen as they may, and life will bring you where you will need to go. Words of wisdom
This video did not disappoint. This was hands down, my favorite so far. Sorry about your herbs...I built a 5 ft fence around my garden for that very reason!!! I’m very proud of you for being so young & already having more knowledge & wisdom than most people.
My favorite too!!😊
This past year has been difficult for many of us and disrupted so many things in life.
Thank you Doll
this had to be the most calm and peaceful video i’ve ever seen on youtube
And it had every facet of her life in it also!
*isabel learns how to build benches* .. every 10 minutes 'this empty space right here is kind of making me feel like a should build a bench' iconic
DAMN.
Three words, Wild Life Camera. That would be so awsome to catch the culprits in ur herb garden on film, adding flavor to the channel.
Thank you
does anyone else watch isabel's videos more than once because you need multiple viewings to take it all in? i totally do lol
25:53.....#HEAVEN
Haha yes ME.

She so awsome to teach people her life style
Yesss !!! Sometimes I watch them at night before bed to decompress and find peace and happiness. 🥰
Thank you for being so real about what you struggle with. I think this lifestyle is only shown as glamorous on RUclips when In reality you still struggle with different things. Beautiful video as always. Thank you for sharing
“As long as I’m doing what I’m passionate about life will lead me to where I need to go” I love it!
“Life will bring me to where I need to go”...beautifully said, Isabel, brought tears to my eyes
There’s this great quote you made me think of 🌱“instead of wishing it was better or different, practice seeing life as an infinite mystery”✨
THE FAMILY THAT WELDS TOGETHER....STAYS TOGETHER.... TELL YOUR BROTHER I LOVE MY COFFEE MUG... LOVE YOU GUYS !!!!
Haha, love this :D
Most positive, brave and giggely girl i have ever seen
