Greek mythology give us many names of thrakian-kings>Diomidis the thrakian....(sound this name bulgarian to you??) or Likourgos...Fineas....Polimnistoras.....hmm????which of this names sounds bulgarian?! in 6.century BC Thraki was a greek colony!!! bulgarians were not existing in this area!! the prototyp of bulgarians was known as an turkish nomadic race!the name of your country comes from the word and means in prototyp bulgarian language !! between 2. and 4. century they settled northern of the black sea!!in the balkan area are bulgarians mentioned 6-7 century not before!!! so again,who occupied and what?????

@@xristos2614 Greeks and Thrace have nothing in common, except the colonies in the coast of Black and Aegean sea. The music is bulgarian, greek folk music has nothing to do with that music.

The Thracian music existed before coming Bulgarians in Thrace! Now you have alphabet, religion, monasteries (such as that used for photography), music etc! Thrace as well you know had a great culture, who assimiled the microcivilisations them, that they brought the bulgarian nomads. Orpheus and Dionysus illuminates even the wants or not the Bulgarian nationalism!
Thracian culture is part of Bulgarian culture, such as Slavic and Proto-Bulgarian cultures. The blood of nthe Tracians is in the veigns of the nowadays Bulgarians. If you really want to be an illuminated person, go to the first capital of Danube Bulgaria Pliska and see yourself what "nomads" were Bulgarians. An enormous medieval city built of square stone blocks...! I always smile at the idea of Bulgarians just getting off the horses and becoming first-class builders. And what I say is quite tangible, it exists there - go and see it. For 480 years the Turkish lime factories used the stones of the ancient Bulgarian capitals and still there is much left for the generations to appreciate.
But. Your point about the music is absolutely wrong. These dances are "Tracian" in exactly the same way as other vare "Macedonian" and other "Rodopean" and other "Mysian" and other "Dobrudjan" and still "Shoppian"... all that are Bulgarian folklore arials. All that is Bulgarian music.
How it comes so that Greek people dance it is another story. I do not think that story have to divide and oppose us any more. Past is past. I am personally joyfull that Bulgarian music survived at the lands that once were inhabited by Bulgarians.
This is not Bulgarian natinalism. This is simple history. Or you are ready to stop naming the largest Turkish city "Constantinupoli"?
