    Why oh why doesn't RAM do this during the assembly process??? My 2021 Ram leaks like a screen door on a submarine. Front and rear.

      If it’s built well, their service department which generates large amounts of revenue will be out of work

      My 21 rebel is leaking on the driver and passenger floor. Bought it used and I'm the third owner. Only had 35k miles on it and decent price so I went for it. Drove it up to Minnesota from Texas and decided to give it a clean and found under both cargo mats the floors where soaked. I'll be checking out what you shared! Appreciate it

      Glad it helped, I do recommend using an automotive seam sealer from Wurth or 3m if available in your area

    Thank you for posting this, have this issue with my 19.. took it to the dealer to get fixed cause it was leaking when i bought it (used) they offered to fix it out of tbeir own pocket. Had sent the manager the video and said they fixed the leaks.. which they didnt. Hopefully they fix it properly now that its there for a second week.

    Thank you. I have been dealing with this issue as well on my 2020 1500 Laramie. Have you had any additional water issues? Thanks again.

    Did this work? Do u get anymore water at all in your floor board? I have a 2021 ram just purchased with 22,000 miles and the drivers side floor board mysteriously gets wet after a rain. Also, I have a warranty, I’m not quite sure if this would be considered a body job shop or service area job? What would u think? Thank you for the detailed video, it’s ridiculous that this hasn’t been recalled by fca/stellantis. The mold alone, from constant moisture, could cause health issues.

      Yep it’s still working well, I would use the 3m seam sealer instead if I was to redo it

    I am going to do this on my bighorn 2020 and I've been trying to figure out how the cowl was removed and now I know thanks for showing this but now it's the bottom door trim I need to know? Do you just pry up and back?

    Great Video. However you never showed where the leak was actually coming from. When you poured the water before spraying the Patch and Seal did you actually see the water seeping in??

    • @WeekndGarage
      @WeekndGarage  5 месяцев назад +1

      It was coming in from the aperture where I sealed off with the spray, on the inside you can’t see where it comes in from since it seeps into the floor panel behind the metal panel on the left of the footwell, no visible water drips
      Just showing the water pour test to help other people identify leaks in different locations

      No problem! I suggest using an automotive seam sealer from wurth or 3m instead of the gorilla spray I used :)
