I know you may not ever read this comment. Just Incase, I want you to know that there are so many of us who know that you can sing. Not just that, but you are funny as hell and you really deserve to have your own platform on TV. Words hurt but words should not have the ability to disable us.
I am one of your biggest fans and I really hope that you will be willing to sing at my wedding when the time comes because your angelic voice will be one extra thing that will make the day special!

Patricia you are an awesome woman. Speaking in forum like this allows one to heal easy. I think you need to stop validating self and allow God to define your purpose. Whatever you do out there 99% applauds you without you knowing. Stop thinking about what society will judge you and and concentrate on your multifaceted career. God Himself will choose for you what's best not you. You are such a wonderful singer, it's time that God hasn't allocated for this career to take off and the rest they say is history.

It's so true. I relate to this so much but it's like when you get older you are so self conscious and you're constantly wondering if you're good enough.. That has been my greatest weakness. I went to music school but wheeew.. Let's say things went downhill.

Nawaoo,,,, so when there are some of us who think Patricia Kihoro is a goddess (super gorgeous and multi-talented) there are those who want you to believe you are a second or lesser option? I have met such in my life and some took me quite aback, but I have grown bigger than their ‘best’ would ever fathom. There are those of us who believe in you 100 and most importantly, you come first in your life,,,, do you dear.... pursue as many dreams as you can fathom.... let no one tell you to stick to one thing..... life is too grand to be boxed by those whose dreams/ visions are not as grand as yours. She's ridiculously talented and while it seems obvious to us watching her from the outside, it was not to her. Wow! This spoke to me so deeply. It's a description of my life and the struggle i've had in re-building my confidence in music. Never feeling good enough. Always living in the shadow of my sister. Everyone felt i sounded great as her back up singer.My sister is an amazing singer with her own identity. I have my own. I have learnt to encourage myself and tell myself that I do measure up. That I'm good enough. Thanks Patricia for making me realize the root of my problem.

I can relate to you 100%. Sometimes people negatively comment on what we believe we were born to do and it really tears into our confidence. At times they do it out of their own insecurities, they want you to feel like you are not all that, others its jealousy over something else and they choose to punch where it really hurts. Like that kapresenter could have been intimidated by your looks, smarts and poise to say such a thing to you. You are not the problem Patricia, they are. I wish you could also have compared the producer to others and see how he would have taken it, to see if he can have a taste of his own medicine.
