True an Icon; she is highly respected actor. I watched one the other night - Chasing Secrets. I didn't think I could finish watching the movie - it was too true of life. The other thing I notice Della Reese is in movies that are a mix races. Its real life. She was truly sent by God.

I never speak about the so called dead in past tense since I died of an overdose (accidental but meant to be-) I was the kind of person that had to see it to believe it & now I know that it was a privilege because in the physical realm if you don’t have faith to believe in what you are praying for then you will never see it! When you do eventually believe it then you WILL see it however you have to focus on it as if it’s already here & feel that feeling of achieving your desires….. health, wealth which is really freedom, and happiness is the most important cos if you look outside yourself to fill a void then all the things/situations etc in the world will end up making you feel worse. Your feelings are your 6th sense! You can’t see them! But they are the most important sense! Look at Hellen Keller! I don’t know why I’ve said all this but maybe someday somebody will read this that is meant to! I am sorry if I have preached, this was meant to be about Della. I can feel her presence as I write this so maybe she had a hand in what I said! I never saw a hell on the other side and the angels or whatever label you want to give the undefinable “God” said that it’s because we learn from our mistakes and there is ONE power and we can allow it or block it off. Amen mahalia....it was a beautiful message of forgiveness, our love prevails over one’s need to be righteous ...we struggle with this justification......but forgiveness also free ourselves from grudges that destroy our spiritual growth, Jesus can’t forgive us until we let go of other’s transgressions offenses to us.....I have to make amends with some people while it’s still possible, a process to be free and healing can start.
Loved 3 specific moments. 1) Forgiveness is the tool of love. 2) He never tried to convert, he just did things to make my life easier. 3) The humility it took her to recognize her own selfish ego, apologize for her own behavior and recongnize other people for the good they have done.
I just love these old fashioned houses. My grandparents and great aunts had homes like these. Large rooms, though dark, those fun porches, yards of yards; and cousins galore. 1940's and the 1950's.
I live in a 1945 home built . Tying to bring back all the originality of this beautiful home. Someone taught me there is a place for righteous anger. And that forgiveness is only made perfect when the person who caused an injury, is, sorry, and reflective. Della herself, being a strong Challenger Temperament, mirrors anger over injustice, and thoughtless injury to others. Della, I only learned recently, was an abused wife. She had impressive understanding of her own past , and as a result, could see other abused women’s fears. Forgiveness, to me, in the end, is more about letting GO. Yes- I am a fan of these moving soulful movies too. Try watching Chasing Secrets, Della is in that too. Another heart wrenching Story. That will cause most parents to reflect, on their own mistakes and failings.

Amen mahalia....it was a beautiful message of forgiveness, our love prevails over one’s need to be righteous ...we struggle with this justification......but forgiveness also free ourselves from grudges that destroy our spiritual growth, Jesus can’t forgive us until we let go of other’s transgressions offenses to us.....I have to make amends with some people while it’s still possible, a process to be free and healing can start.
Loved 3 specific moments. 1) Forgiveness is the tool of love. 2) He never tried to convert, he just did things to make my life easier. 3) The humility it took her to recognize her own selfish ego, apologize for her own behavior and recongnize other people for the good they have done.
I just love these old fashioned houses. My grandparents and great aunts had homes like these. Large rooms, though dark, those fun porches, yards of yards; and cousins galore.

I live in a 1945 home built . Tying to bring back all the originality of this beautiful home. I love the gardens ...it's inspired me to grow a garden on the side of this home, as it just has beautiful ferns. I love Della Reese. Every movie she has been a part; always left a message for me. Another Della Reese masterpiece, this is my 3rd in a row starring her. To see rue McClanahan aka Blanche in a church Cristian themed movie is so funny. This was so heartfelt n made me cry. I don't think Della accepted a role unless it had a deep.spiritual meaning, a message n made u cry.

I especially like the scene of that little boys father talking about Nathaniel. This is what this verse is referring to. I feel the writer has triumphed here throughout the whole story, and captured the true meaning of faith.
