Hey I’m the drummer and I have recently been coming across more of our old music being uploaded and I just wanted to thank all of you so much for everything. You have no idea how much you all impacted my life and how grateful I am for all of you still keeping this alive. It means more to me than you’ll ever know. I’m 35 now and 20 years ago all I could have ever wanted for my life was to be able to come here 20 years later and see these comments. It truly completes my life ❤ for some reason, this album
Is not on Spotify but a lot of our other music is, including Cities Built On Sand with our original singer Spencer which someone just uploaded recently!

I miss this band soooo much, I discovered them in 2012 and I remember waiting for their album that was never released, they had soo much potential. I always come back to them from time to time.

Thanks for the upload. Incredible how great this sounds! I had this ep on my iPod back in the day but I think I had a poor quality download because it never sounded this clear!
Glad you were able to find it! I know decent quality versions are still pretty hard to come by which is why I wanted to make sure this was available on RUclips after getting the CD.

@@jonathanelser590 yes! He was originally the singer in our band but unfortunately we parted ways. After that, a lot of bands (to my understanding) reached out to him after that and he made some other great music. He is extremely talented. I was looking for a singer and I heard there was a high school in our area with an “opus” and I thought “I wonder if there’s any dudes in that class that would be into our music.” This was before social media was really big so we found a kid we knew from that school and told him to check for good singers in the opus. He came back to us saying he found a kid named Spencer and he gave us his contact and from there, the rest is history haha

I think I have a version of this with the original singer.. My memory might be hazy but I really wish I could find all my old music archive.
Definitely post it if you find it. Amusingly, I always hoped to hear the original EP with Sierra on vocals. Don't get me wrong, _Cities Build On Sand_ is a great EP, but I prefer their style with Sierra. Ftr, idk if that actually exists outside of _The Blank Static Screen._
@@avenged110 She did a cover of Blank Static Screen, but that's all I'm aware of that she did for Cities. I personally prefer Spencer, but may simply just be because that's how I originally saw them. They were so awesome live, too.. When I go home tonight I will try to find a harddrive with the music or something.. I had soooo many indie bands that I'll probably never find songs from again, ripped from MySpace lol...

Didn't the original have screaming? Or am I tripping? LoL
No idea. This is the "original" in the sense that it came from the official CD. I'm unaware of any other versions, but that doesn't necessarily mean there aren't any.
@@avenged110 I found it on RUclips! There is a demo version before they were signed that had screaming layered in the chorus. If I remember correctly, FBR made them remove it so they could be more marketable.
