@ I have one in my garage. I paid two grand for it, but it was new and I’ll tell you drive the riding lawnmower in bring it right up to wherever it’s comfortable for me to work on it on. What the job is. I put the work at my comfort level, I spent 35 years crawling around on cement under cars, etc. I’ve had a few back surgeries and I’ve got more bolts and rods in me than most Toyotas, but that lift table is fabulous and put a steel plate across the top of it and now you can work on small things sitting on a chair right in front of your comfortable here we need a heated garage. It’s wonderful. We could put a couple of cots in there and camp out right in the garage anyway I enjoyed your video. You have a way of explaining things to everybody will catch it thank you, sir Now God bless our America❤️🔥🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@RayofallTrades We're reassembling ours, and the 'spinner' coming down from the engine is not engaging with the pump. Do you know how to lower the attachment?
@@mssrus ah. Usually the crankshaft/ tailshaft coming out of the motor has a groove/keyway and a small woodruff key to connect them. If you are reassembling, make sure that the key is not blocking you
Manual says filter must be changed annually. Manual does not say fluid must be changed. I don't think the fluid must be changed as long as it's clean. Takes about 4 gals AW46 fluid. Check fluid level before use! I was an idiot and forgot to check. I think I ran it with fluid low. Hope I didn't destroy the pump.
I have the same splitter. The manual list several choices. NAPA 1553 Cross 1A9023 Baldwin BT839 Wicks 51553 Fram 1653A I think it should be Wix, not Wicks, but that's what the manual says.
Do you have to bleed the air out of the hydraulic system? I'm working on my 22 ton huskee, did a hydraulic oil and filter change and I don't know where the release screw to bleed air out would be
Very Nice and informative Video. I have this exact splitter that I picked up a couple years ago very reasonably. Owner did a service and said it quit splitting. Checked pump shaft and coupler so on. Well after I purchased it and was going through the machine and -Ready for this- my friend I had helping me discovered the previous owner had left one of those Red Plastic Cap Plugs in the return line when he did the Hydraulic oil service. WoW!!!!! 😳😳 Luckily Him or me did not run it long and wreck the pump. Been 4 years and Been a good Splitter. Bit Slow Cycle time but I am OK with that. I'm getting to old and dont move as fast. 🧐 ruclips.net/user/sgaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f914.png
I have this model. Manual says it takes AW46 hydraulic oil.
Where did you get the filters?
I'm pretty sure it was Mortons equipment in Fredericksburg VA but might have been amazon
I also didn't know it was aw46. I need to remember that for my friends machine. Thanks!
I think oriellys sells that oil
@@RayofallTrades My local Autozone had AW46 in stock.
@@RayofallTrades Huskee 22 ton manual is online. I can't post the manual number here because it keeps getting deleted from your comments. WTF?

Lift table? That’s a good idea. Thanks!

What interval for hydraulic do you recommend to change oil
Depends on use. Not sure what owners manual says but generally I do every other year or maybe 3. Owners manual probably says more frequently

This one has a hole in the fill plug. I just run it back and forth and it bleeds itself
