- In May of 2013, The National walked on stage at a venue in Queens to play, "Sorrow", a song off their 2010 record "High Violet", and would go on to play it another 98 more times.
But why, though?

I've never heard of any of this before. Interesting, niche, topic, well presented. I can't believe you committed 6 hours to listening to it! Incredibly well done sir.
I'm happy you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Thanks for doing a video on this, really beautiful. As someone who usually just hears lyrics as an instrument and not as a message or story I really appreciated it!
Great video, better performance art. Thank you very much, Ragnar Kjartansson and The National.
this was a FASCINATING video. i've never heard of any of the source material but your editing and narration gripped me!
Thank you so much! I'm happy you thought so!
Goodness gracious, you've come a long way since the grump days. Edited and spoken like a champion.
This makes me very happy to read! I was lucky to have so many people follow me from those old edits into my new content, and I aspire to improve my skills and make better videos for people to enjoy. Thank you so much for the kind words!
Nice one
Great video mate keep it up 👏👏 stupid it only has 700 veiws.
damn
Love it ❤
how did i forget about this
I had this tucked away in a small folder full of ideas that I come up with just randomly throughout the day. This show is like a bizarre memory.
i love music:')
I love burritos tbh
never had a burrito, but it's on my list
Wouldnt it be a bit boring to do it more than once or twice
You'd think, but I often listen to songs on repeat for many times through the week, so I guess this is in my wheelhouse.
@@Jexonite no cause, I do the same , but with ERB songs... The videos paired to music give me the "I'm going to listen to this until it plays identical in my head"
