Tessa Rowell sounds like you didn’t cook ur cake fully through. Works perfectly fine done it myself and u can see tons of videos on RUclips of people doing it that way. She’s cutting it into the shape of two bunt cakes anyway
@@mandit5555 I don't like the results and the size is not for all cakes. They are usually much smaller than what I need. And I meant that when you cut into the finished cake, there is a hollow center...I have had problems of the cake going inwards over time
Excellent Laura but a lot of carving which you are an expert at - I'll try and give it a whirl. Can you tell me, was that an orange flavoured cake you used....if so what colouring and flavours did you use?
Thank you! 😊 This cake was made using two batches of my vanilla cake recipe with added food coloring. The recipe will make two 6 inch round cakes which are around 3 inches deep so you may need to cut the baked cakes down a little if you're using 3 inch deep cake pans.
Thanks so much for this great tutorial! You make it look easy - although I know there's a lot of skill and experience behind making things look easy. And, OMG, that color wheel turntable!! Where did you get that? It's so cool.
Hi there, what a beautiful cake.. I want to make this for my son's first birthday. Which falls on Halloween.. I was wondering how much orange fondant you used? I've seen packets for 250g.. is that enough ..hope you reply. Thankyou.
Thank you Nicola! 😊 If you're making the cake in the size shown in the video I would recommend 750g of orange. You will most likely only use around 500g (or less) but I like to allow a bit more so you can roll out the fondant much larger than the cake. If you don't roll out enough you can sometimes run the risk of having to stretch the fondant over the cake which could cause tears or an 'elephant skin' effect. If you have any leftover fondant perhaps you could make some mini pumpkins around the main cake for additional decoration (you would need a slightly larger cake drum for the extra pumpkins) 😊
Wow, absolutely stunning, too beautiful to eat....
Absolutely stunning!!!!!! By far my favourite pumpkin carved cake!!!!
OMG I just found out you had a channel in youtube. Please keep doing these kind of videos. They are awesome!!! God bless your talent. 💗💗💗
Love this pumpkin!! so pretty
Thank you so much Perla!! 😊
This is amazing. One of my favourites!!
🎃❤️
It's so pretty it makes you not want to eat it✨🎃✨
2 bunt cake pans would have made it easier but never the less you've made a beautiful cake.
Bundt cake pan scare not thick enough and it leaves a hollow center which will cause the cake the fall inwards...tried it so many times

Amazing
What's the orange film thing you put on the cake.? By the way this is so cool. I want to try this I've never seen anything like it
Thank you! - The cake is covered in a layer of rolled orange fondant 😊
Your a professionnel i watch all your videos😍😍🍪🎂🍰🍡🍬🍦🍡🍩
Thank you so much Ikbel Bel Hadj Salah!! 😊
Que bello!
Never clicked so fast! Yaaas
Superb....is this your vanilla cake recepie?
Thank you Michelle!
Yes, this is made using two batches of my vanilla cake recipe, with added food coloring 😊
😍😍😍
ı love this 😍😍😍
Good
This takes a lot of skill.
How do you do THIS omg
Can't we use two semisphere cake bowls to make the cake.......????
This should be fine. You may need to carve to shape a little, but all pumpkins are different shapes so it doesn't need to be perfect 😊
Eba fui a primeira à dar Lake
Nice, but you wasted a lot of cake :(
Crystal Mora most bakers keep their scraps for cake pops!
Crystal Mora that's the called baker's tax 😂😉
Um that's normal.
Use a bunt cake mold n make 2 u can skip the carving n shaping steps completely n save all the cake 🍰 🎃
@@mandit5555 bunt cake pans give a very different shape
