I actually don’t listen to videos but since these events I’m finding it enjoyable! I actually work from home and I get to work on my diamond panting while I work! So listening to you and Diamonds and Washi has made my day more interesting! 💎 🎃

Thank you for the WIP and chat, Lindsay. I believe someone in the group actually posted that the start pictured needed to be time stamped and then there were others telling people how to use the time stamp on the IPhone and Samsungs. Reading all the comments in the group, I can understand why you are so stressed and I can imagine the messages both you and Katie are receiving. I am sorry you guys are going through all that, I wish people knew how to be more kind instead of flipping out over something like this. I love both Halloween and Christmas! I think Halloween reminds me more of my kids and how much fun we had when they were little and Christmas is more of a reminder of family and the beautiful imagery you can find everywhere. Hope you have a great weekend and things get much less stressful! 🎃
It was nice to listen to your WIP & Chat again. I'm sure you have a lot of stress taking great care of your boys. You are a wonderful part of our dp community. It's best to just ignore the nasty people, they don't deserve your time and attention. I think it's also okay to ignore people who ask questions that have been covered in the videos or slides. A lot of people these days don't try to find stuff out themselves. I'm not trying to be mean but like you said it's hard to answer the same question 50 times a day, especially when you've already put the information in the start videos and slides in the Facebook group. I'm glad to be doing this event for the fourth year. I'm looking forward to more WIP & Chats. Take care of yourself!

Thank you for the update on Jingle Drills. I started a kit for it last year and not only did I not finish, but I actually stopped diamond painting altogether until August this year. I really think I was caught up, at least partially, in not being able to finish. This is totally silly and only in my own head!!!! I have a couple of small Christmas kits. I may pull one of those out first and then finish my gingerbread one from last year. The sleep thing is hard. I have four kids…my youngest is autistic and I have also been diagnosed as AuDHD. Thank goodness that the sleep issues are behind us for the most part (ages 18, 15, 10, and 8) but this is a very hard season that you are in. I know that you know this, but sleep is so critical for both our physical and mental health!!! Dealing with the public is hard too. My husband owns a retail furniture store and I had to step away because having a public-facing persona when you are the manager/mom of so much behind the scenes stuff is exhausting. Masking is draining. I feel like I am rambling…but I wanted you to know I see you-not in a creepy way 😂 and I want you to feel that there are those of us out here who support you and lift you up. 🎃
Please take care of your physical, mental & emotional health. I removed myself from Facebook completely more than 10 years ago bc i felt it was consuming too much of my time and energy. I got tired of dealing with so many people who get their joy from tearing others down.
Thank you for not requiring FB to be able to be a part of Drills & Chills. This is the first event I have been able to participate in. I started diamond painting last November as a way to unwind after stressful days at work. Love your videos but understand that they can also be added stress. Hang in there! ❤🎃&🎄

Hi, I don't want to preach, but I was a full-time caretaker for my dad for 3 yrs and then My mother-in-law for 10yrs. I put my health on the back burner then all of a sudden, I had high blood pressure and Diabetes type 2. Pls! take care of yourself First. Then you will be able to care for others without risking your own health. It's like they say on the airplane Place the 02 mask on yourself First then others. Take care of yourself first then your better able to care for others. Sorry about the rant.

I’ve never listened to one of your WIP N CHATS before but I really enjoyed this! I wanted to thank you for all you do from your events to taking time to making these videos. You’re doing a fantastic job!! This is my first year participating in drills and chills and I love how everyone comes together, I’m so looking forward to jingle drills!! I have to start searching for my kit for it 😊

As someone who did not listen to her body's signals and pushed too hard 24/7 to be everything to everyone... and have been battling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia for over 50 years... PLEASE take care of yourself first. Only when you have filled your cup, will you be able to help your boys and loved ones fill theirs. If you need to do less or stop doing certain things initially... those who are true friends will understand. And we will always be here for you when you need us. Sending you love❤❤❤

🍁Please take care of yourself! I enjoyed the WIP. Remember NOTHING is more important than your health and those "babies" and you can't take care of them if you are not feeling well yourself!! So please please take a little time each day to just focus on you and do not worry about social media "bullies" they are NOT worth it!! Those of us that Love you and appreciate you will be the ones that you can turn to for that little bit of extra support! I have been participating and having such a great time. People in the chat have been mostly lovely and supportive. You and Katie have been amazing, (as always). The time stamp thing was so strange. When I saw it in the FB group I was also confused, but ignored it because I had rewatched both your videos a couple of times…but oh my…the drama. Lol
I’m sorry about all the FB chaos! I watched it all play out and was like 😮. I think 1 person wasn’t sure about needing a time stamp bc of all the different times zones and then it just snowballed out of control from there. You and Katie were very clear about all the FAQ’s and I had no problem understanding them. You 2 host a great event! Looking forward to Jingle Drills!
Yay! I love that you're planning on doing post reviews! My favorite videos are WIPnChats, post reviews and month reviews. I like the visiting with you and having someone talk to me while I'm diamond painting, and I love seeing finished products! I don't know how you handle Facebook. I tried seeing if I could participate more and i just can't get into it over there. IG and RUclips do me all the way.
Definitely take care of yourself. I know how hard it is to make sure you're making sure your needs are met when taking care of kids. Hang in there! ❤

Love your WIP N CHAT. Your an amazing young women and you need to take care of you first and your family. These two paintings are beautiful. I get made fun of for years from family and friends cause I am not on any social media. No, really. I am 62 yrs old and in the past year? have gotten on to RUclips and watch only Diamond Painting and food videos. I love all holidays. Take care of you and thank you for all your videos.

I just love your sweet and upbeat nature. I’m so sorry that something that you work so hard on for all of our pleasure is so stressful! I’m often surprised at how serious so many people are about this craft. I love it but it is just a hobby. Bistro does such a great job, I just love their pens. Gotta get me a water one one day. Getting my first order from Tracy tomorrow so excited!! And i use a lego brick seperator to open the DAC containers. I had a pile chillin on our coffee table and had a light bulb moment 😂
I can relate to the health stuff. I had a really scary incident last month where a blind spot appeared in my eye and when I went to urgent care my blood pressure was really high. Then I found out I have inflammation on my retina. My GP now wants me on blood pressure medication and the blind spot is still there and I have an appointment at the end of the month with a macular specialist to find out the cause, if it can be treated or if I’ll lose more of my vision. There’s a good chance the high blood pressure is related but it’s scary waiting. I’m also only 25 and my GP thinks my blood pressure is mostly genetic but made worse by me having anxiety so age doesn’t matter much. Anyway it was nice listening to your WIP and Chat and I hope your health improves soon ❤ 🎃🎃

Great work on the event! I don't think any of you made any big mistakes and the rules/requirements were pretty straightforward. I think some people just lack reading comprehension or would rather ask than figure things out themselves. I also do agree that people who have participated in other events were bringing over rules from those events and confusing people 😅 hope that you don't get too stressed during this event! 🎃
This has been a fun wip n chat. I hope youre able to start figuring out little ways to care for yourself. Im sure thats super hard with young kids. I feel for you and wish i could help out somehow. But we dont know each other so that would be weird. 😂 i do love both events and look forward to them each year, and they are so much fun. 🍁🍁🍁

I just don’t get how some people on Facebook think that they can say things to people that they just wouldn’t get away with stood in front of someone… I am sorry to hear you have had people be rude to you. There are ways of talking to people that I just think some people have forgotten…

It’s good to take your time Lindsay I have a 17 year old son who is artistic this is his last year of school I also suffer of high blood pressure and I take it a day at a time. Diamond painting keeps me relaxed 😌.
Sorry you've had some health issues. I've been sick with bronchitis for the last two weeks and trying to care for people when you're down is nearly impossible. Also wanted to say, I feel like filming wip n chats is something you have to settle into. It's awkward at first, but eventually, you get used to it and sound like you're chatting with a friend. I'm still too new to be good at them, but I've always enjoyed yours.

Drills and Chills is my second big Diamond painting event. I’ve also done some smaller paint alongs. It is a lot of fun. I only started Diamond painting at the end of last December
