For someone who doesn't live in the US or doesn't use ANSI, this hobby is really a hassle. I mean, the market is flooded with affordable mechanical keyboards and especially keycaps for the US layout. But it's really damn hard to find something reasonably priced for ISO (non-UK) users. It can become very exoensive and frustrating for someone living outside the US. Sadly.
Thanks for this video , Just got into the world of mechanical keyboards so this has helped me a lot., although i don't plan on opening up the switches !!!
Yeah that pcb looked like a piece of doo doo and they even had the awful in-hole hotswap sockets, but for $26 and a little work, this turned out really well man! Also when using that switch opener I've found it helpful to use some sort of screwdriver or a small pokey thing to put pressure on top of the stem, then the top housing should pop up nice and easy. Good video!
Thats a tough one. I think it would depend on if you are going to mod it or not and if you care about having a knob. If you go with the Ajazz just make sure you double check which version you get. There are a total of 3 different versions I've seen out in the wild all with the same AK680 model number. One that is not hotswap, another that is 3 pin hotswap and lastly one that is 5 pin hotswap. If you don't care about the knob and can secure the 5 pin version that would be my choice. If you can't secure the 5 pin version I would then go withthe one from this video. Hope that helps!
Quietest build I've ever seen! I love this, it gives me hope for things I find on Temu as well. Extra points for it being so dang cute!

I'm sorry it's a hassel. I will do some homework and see if I can find affordable options for non ANSI non US keeb folk. ❤

I dont feel like single color leds are worthy of being called RGB. Nice video though.
That's fair lol!
this or Ajazz ak680 ?
Both have the worst rgb ever , but
ajazz is better in term it supports MX hotswap sockets
