What plague was upon the Israelites? (Numbers 25) I keep looking for a plague, but can't find mention of the plague even beginning. I wondered if it was just mistranslated.

Come on Rabbi, nowhere in scripture does it say that it is a sin to have multiple wives. Torah does not regulate sin. There are Torah rules on this. Monogamy is a Greco Roman Cult belief.
1CORINTHIANS 7, Each man should have his own WIFE ( NOT WIVES )and EACH WOMAN her own HUSBAND ( NOT HUSBANDS ) THE TWO SHALL BE ONE ,FLESH❤ ( MARK 10 v 8 ) ,[ GOING OUT OF THE WORD OF YAHWEH IS A SIN

He who guards the command knows no evil matter. And the heart of the wise discerns both time and right-ruling, Because for EVERY matter there is a time and right-ruling, though the trouble of man is heavy upon him.

Torah does give stories of the lives of men with multiple wives ending badly. If you like drama then an extra wife or three will bring it.
