Mrs. Koosje, I want you to know that you have not just inspired me, but contributed in my art skill improvement by drawing everyday and trusting the flow. I no longer go for perfectionism, but I noticed that as I drew every day, I get perfect in one area or the other. So it's like this, Perfection is now chasing after me. Thanks a lot 🙏🏽

I've been using that size Stillman and Birn sketchbooks for a couple of years now and I love them. They can so easily fit into anything so you're more likely to take them with you. I only just started making my own sketchbooks just a little bit larger than that because I have a lot of paper, can choose different papers (to mix things up) and I go through those sketchbooks so quickly that I need a more economical alternative. Loving it so far.

This is a great idea. I feel I'd hate a sketchbook so small but maybe if I made it myself, it would feel more like "scrap paper" and I could just doodle when the mood strikes

@@kathyhackney7950 I use really good watercolour paper and mixed media paper. I got a pile recently for a really good price but they were pads rather than blocks and I like to work on blocks. I also had grey mixed media paper leftover from a project so that got thrown in too. So it just made sense to use those in order to use them. And if you want to doodle than doodle. Out of doodling some good things happen. I feel I'm not precious with it and so I'm looser and more likely to use it even when at home. And it is so easy to do. I might do a video when I make my next one soon.

Thank you so much for sharing your sketch books. I go between large watercolors and various sketchbook sizes. I find it hard sometimes to use larger formats unless I use individual sheets of paper like a standard painting requires.
I loved the bingo card this October and felt sad when I had completed the card. I have saved it to use on days I need to think of something to challenge myself with. Thanks again!

Hello Koosje, Loved your drawings! Really liked the idea of drawing vertically in the landscape sketchbook. I have been challenged too with my small landscape sketchbook. I’m inspired to try drawing vertically in my sketchbook. Yay. Thank you ❤😊 Rita

I loved seeing this flip-through! I am still in the small sketchbook stage and would love to hear about your transition to dipping your toe into drawing in a larger sketchbook. Thanks so much for sharing!

I started using bolder tools (thicker line, calligraphy pens, crayons) and was mixing more media and bigger sketchbooks were more suitable for it. Also, with the bolder tools and a bigger sketchbook, I could make bigger gestures.

I just watched one of your older videos about how to film a sketchbook tour. Would love to see if you've upgraded equipment. Strangely, that was the only video RUclips showed me based on my search!

I actually think this is still an accurate way to do it without having to buy equipment.

Beautiful. I could never use a sketchbook that small. Smallest I’ll go is b6 ad that’s pushing it for me.❤

Dear Koosje, I did a Patreon registration, but it didn't work out. I tried to contact them, they didn't responded, so I cancelled it again and was a bit unhappy.

I’m sorry it didn’t work. And also that you didn’t hear back from customer support. Maybe you could try again but using a different device?
