- By embracing Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI), Harris County Juvenile Probation Department is successfully changing the culture of care at their facilities from one focused upon punishment to one of wholistic hope and healing for the youth in their care. As a result of their TBRI implementation efforts emphasizing safe and healthy connection with youth, behavioral challenges have decreased as employee satisfaction has improved.
Harris County Juvenile Probation's "Transformation Team" members training staff. They're reshaping the culture and how staff interact with residents using TBRI principles. Awesome team!!!
We appreciate you too!
Working at the SCDJJ I had a child tell me “Officer Tuten did it ever dawn on you that kids don’t just be bad to be bad ? , Most of the time something happened to change us this way!” That child touched my heart and changed the way I handled the children forever and they love me and I love them I keep up with them even after they are released ♥️🙌🏽
You guys may change the whole ways the system is. God bless you
