It was a "luxury" SUV close to a real 4x4. It has low-range, electronic similating differential-lock, easy to modify and power. Mine is also for overland. Now with snorkel, 4 inches higher, lpg, bed inside, shower, kitchen, second battery and stuff inside for camping and soon with winch. We drove from Spain to Macedonia, and the next trips are Iceland and *sthan countries. Tires are 31s’ 285x17in. 2 inch wheel spacers. 2” body lift. 2” inch suspension lift. The front shocks is rancho RS9000. The rear is bilstein with 2” spacers.

Everyone hate and talk so many negative things about this SUV that i've always been afraid to buy it.
I hunted everywhere for a ML 55 AMG but settled for a 2000 ML 320 as premium gas is not cheap.
I own one of 1998 release , and it’s so decent even in 2024 … with 300 k km s .. don’t even think of selling..

@@Ottoaerial Do you have the offroading package? locking diffs and low range? or just stock?
@@lockupuredaughters it’s stock. Which comes with ESP that acts like lockers. I do have low range. The only mods are suspensions lift
@@OttoaerialI thought turning off ESP & lightly pressing the brake equaled the post 2000 ML traction control.
