Even my local dealer did not make this process look as easy as you did. After many angry attempts, I followed your guidance and in MINUTES I was up and running again. Love this video. Thank you!!!!
I had a tough time getting my string to go all the way through, so I had to remove the head and do it the hard way. Next time though, I’m going to use a stiff piece of wire the sam e diameter as the string and tape the end of the string to the wire..so, I will push the wire through like a Needle and the string should follow.
They still need more brains behind it mine is stubborn. You'd need the hands of andre the giant to push both tabs in far enough to release the spindle ffs.
I’m assuming they design it for the exact diameter line they recommend. However, it might be worth it to try something just a bit larger and see how it works.
Have the 60volt version of this. And its white plastic not green plastic like you have here. I think this said it has to be .85 trimmer line. I accidentally bought .95 line and this I think won't work. Its not feeding through right. Do you think that line is just not compatible?

Weird. I’m thinking something was sticking in yours. Mine is very easy.
@@andysshop It's new so it is stiff ... I used a large pipe wrench to push in the tabs and now it's easier to remove.
Mine got gunked up pretty heavily with grass goop. It felt like I was going to break something I was pressing so hard.
💪💪
I would love to use a bigger diameter line . Wonder if it would work?

If it’s not feeding through, it is too big.
Awesome video thx for sharing. Did you use .080 or .095 line ?
I’m not actually sure. It was the line that came with it.
Thx I will call greenworks. Good video
😢I have not the right size hand to push in both tabs with one hand 😢and pull off top at same time 😢
Ask a neighbor for help!
I’ve been doing it wrong my whole life 😂
Well now you can do it the right way!
Boy did I do that wrong!
