Revisiting this video, absolutely phenomenal. Thanks for creating. That team was special indeed. Crazy to think we could have been national champs this year. We all know Duke is thankful they didn’t have to play us again that year. The Kentucky game still hurts, we played too much hero ball the last 2:00, played right into their hands. What a season.
This will be the best ND we’ll see ever. They were tough, disciplined, played together, and mean. They got screwed in seeding for the tournament. They had the toughest road to the championship. Kentucky got lucky.
I come back to this video every once in awhile.. especially when we have a heartbreaking loss like we did against Louisville. I wish we had this special group back. I miss the great playmakers of Jackson and Grant. I miss the sharpshooters of Steve and Pat. And of course don’t forget the great big man/rim protector Auguste and a young Bonzie. I hope we become as good as we were then sometime soon. Go Irish

Yes. For sure. They should have gone all the way.
I said this the moment I saw the seeding. I’ll never forget. Every team they played was good. Even northeastern. ACC champions with a 29-5 record gets a 3 seed while Duke, who they beat twice that year, gets a 2? That Kentucky game was BS.
