“And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:” Exodus 33:22 (KJV) Amen
I completely agree. I am Roman Catholic, but I see the Anglican Communtion as the crown jewel of Catholicism, a true gift for the world. If only we could be more like them. The Holy Father will be sorely missed - his 2010 UK visit was a real joy for us all,
Music in england has kept a beautiful tradition in cathedrals, college / chapel, as the New College at Oxford or the King College to Cambridge, it also has the Westminter Abbey and the Westminster Cathedral in London. Of course as with Master Stopford Ireland. For me, the tradition is constant over time. The UK (Anglican and Catholic) kept this consistency very long time.
Praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for the super singing. What makes this heartwarming is the sincerity of the singers . You can see this on their faces. The hearts of the singers are what make a hymn interesting. The choir master, conductor and organist should be running the school system. Hymn singing should be a prerequisite of every aspiring teacher. Also it is wonderful to see young people in the congregation. It is no surprise to know that the education system in N Ireland is very good. Keep going for Jesus. . . . Amen ?
So beautiful! Such beautiful words. Thankyou dear souls, thankyou. Such a maginificent divine power to see so many singing the glories of God. Aum Guru.
Both the tunes are unique. We cannot compare themselves. If you are thinking that blanwern is better than hyfrydol, please watch Mormon tabernacle choir's love divine. They are singing love divine in hyfrydol tune with Mack wilberg's arrangement.
My God. I think it's better not to share ideas. I speak of tradition in England about music. You speak of the Bible. We are not talking about the same thing. If you have the answer, why did you ask me a question? I feel I have been tricked. I answered honestly compared to what I thought of your question.
I don't agree. Go ahead and preserve your museums, but true Christianity exists in those who actually LIVE the Gospel. Your tradition just makes baby jesus cry.
“And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:”
Exodus 33:22 (KJV) Amen
We THANK Charles wesley to continue the wonderful love which Jesus demonstrated to us by giving us the LOVE DIVINE
Yes brother.

This chant elevates the soul and softens the mind.

Thigh. Hymn is not the work of Charles Wesley it a Welsh hymn he wrote the english words
Still so much better than Hyfrydol.
I agree, I think this melody should be the only one used particularly here in the Anglican Church of Canada or the United Church
Both the tunes are unique. We cannot compare themselves. If you are thinking that blanwern is better than hyfrydol, please watch Mormon tabernacle choir's love divine. They are singing love divine in hyfrydol tune with Mack wilberg's arrangement.
What does that even mean?
Gosh! Young Prince Harry lookalike at 1:10....
