Nice job and the new rifle + caliber is a great combo, but please set your scope to Semi Automatic Nuc setting and Nuc it manually just before you engage your targets.
Great video and thanks for sharing. What handheld thermal do you use ? I may not can afford it so if can please reccomend one that you would use if you were just starting out. Thanks and GOD bless. David
Turns out Josh grabbed 4 this night. I found the first one he shot and we couldn’t find. Point of impact was a little low, but plopping the tripod down on the move at 300+ yds, firing the first actual hunting round from this rifle, not too f’ing shabby.
I also prefer 243 for coyote hunting an I also do some hand loading. What powder an charge are you using with the 70gr bullets I'm currently shooting 55gr nosslers at bout 3900 to 4000fps an shoots awesome but was thinking about going to the 70gr myself for extra knock down have had some get up an run off after dropping them with the 55gr lately
I know you were using the 6.5 Grendel. Im using the 123 sst from Hornady and my gun doesn't seem to group them as well as Id like wondering any other recommendations for bullets to use?

Thanks buddy! Appreciate ya 🤙🤙
Awesome setup, love the 243 caliber!
Thank ya and same here 👍👍
We found theb70 and 75 were the best for our 243. We since went and switched to the 6 mm arc. Way better in weight and accuracy
Damn that was fun Buddy! Thanks for taking us along with you. Gonna try to get out tonight we got around 2’’ of fresh snow today.
Thanks buddy! Heck yeah! Good luck out there. We have had .8” of snow all winter. Pretty disappointing!
I wanna go hunting with this guy. I just got my first yote last night and I’ve been learning alot. Cass county has a ton of them running around.
Congrats on your first! It’s addicting! 👊👊

For sure 👊👊
Is that a creek beyond that tree line that they are crossing?
Yeah, just a drainage ditch pretty much.

One in Lyons.
I know you were using the 6.5 Grendel. Im using the 123 sst from Hornady and my gun doesn't seem to group them as well as Id like wondering any other recommendations for bullets to use?
123 SST’s are worthless. 90 gr TNT ‘s or Varmagedons

Taper mounts
@@HoosierHunter thanks for answering my questions. I think I may buy one, seems like a good price. You're totally happy with it?
No problem! Love it. Thought about buying another but not going to yet. Can only shoot one rifle at a time, right? 😂
I just picked up my AR10 in 22 creedmoor.
Nice! DNA build?
@@HoosierHunter custom made by a gunsmith friend using the best components.
Not bad for the first night out. Give it time and practice. You won't be missing many with it.
Oh yeah, not worried about it all. It’s a fine piece if equipment 🤙🤙
How is the. 243 on the fur?
Not bad at all with 58’s and 70’s
