@Renkaru: Of course it won't be the same, but that's the very point of it. After all, it was Roy's option to leave the band. I love Roy and his contribution to Kamelot, but I really believe that Thomas&co. can move on doing smashing music on their on, so let's give them a well deserved chance! Thumbs up for the new Kamelot! And remember, nobody is irreplaceable!
Sure they don't need it! btw, Kamelot used these kind of Choirs long before Epica was even around... listen to middle part of The Fourth Legacy for ex... ;) And YES that album's gonna be epic, i can't wait!!

@ownbeef I dont think it will be the same without khan, he brought an atmosphere with his voice that no one ever could replicate, and I'll stick by that. However I have faith that kamelot will chose someone fresh and interesting. This is however a blind faith.
I swear that sounds like prince of Persia warrior within music at the very beginning.... :-p

Cool stuff! I've been in a "funk" ever since Roy left. But I've decided that the best way for me to move-on is to pretend that this is an entirely different band and I'll let what they do now stand on its own and try not to compare it to the "old" Kamelot. I was a Marillion fan during the Fish era, and I like the Hogarth version as much or even better. So I'm hoping that I'll dig Kamelot V2.0 as well. :-)
