Beautiful thanks. Clear and concise. Cheers Bro.
Glad it helped
Remember folks, the pipe will be underground so it will not be as straightforward as he's demonstrating. Just getting the fitting in both ends of the pipe will be your toughest task. I recommend digging enough space to be able to flex the pipe.
I have no idea why but I greatly enjoyed watching this video. Thank you sm this is epic.
That's all that matters!
Thank you so much for posting this video. It helped me fix the leak.
That's great - glad we could help!
Thanks so much for taking the time to share this with us!
My pleasure!
I had never heard of either before. I've been using the worm gear and screw clamp type. Just can't get the clamp tight enough to prevent leaking. I will look up the cobra clamp.
Thanks guys! I'm in the process of fixing a busted water main at 8:30 at night. Just how I planned my evening to go
You get it sorted?
Never seen another video mentioning the poly clips!
Great video. You got to the point, explained it well and gave two options. I'm off to the Big Green Store to get my supplies and ready to fix my retic. Thank you!!
FIXED! :)
Happy we could help.
Jb weld water weld?? Any input?
I have the same channel locks, They came from BMW tool kit and I use them all the time.
How much do those tools cost, would DYI cost less than a plumber?
in situ ? in these parts we just say "still in the ground"
Yeah no doubt dealing with that today thanks for the knowledge. God bless. From Washington state!!!
Thanks Tyler!
Waterpro yeah I thought it was a black plastic pipe but it’s actually a copper pipe painted black. I’ve been using water weld. Our water main was replaced on the street and it cracked our residential pipe which turns out to be copper. But like I said I’ve been using water weld epoxy. Do you have any recommendations, I care give for my grandmother and moneys tight.?.?.?.
Thank you so much this was really helpful
Glad it helped.
this demo should be done under real situations where the pipes are in the dirt.
Good point. We will add that to the list of videos we need to produce.
How much would it cost to have a PVC pipe fixed for water under a mobile home the pipe has a bad leak
Do you have a link to purchase the polyurethane clips and the fittings?

Good one, but there is a better way and very simple too. Just buy the poly pipe joiners from hardware or plumbing supplies.
Please post a pic of said joiners!!!!!!!
Where can I get these connectors?

cheers mate
👌
Good vid thanks, not everyone does it the right way I guess. Lol
You got that right!
Shout out to Murray Bridge!
Indeed!
I tried this with plastic and metal joiners. Doesn't work! I always had a leak no matter how tight I turned the hose clamp!
And PVC?
We should really do one hey.
@@waterproau Maybe I should.
My adventures in the backyard are becoming epic.
Can't see anything you are doing because it is blocked with the writing on the screen
Subtitles?
Google ruined Utube
Do that in the ground and remove 3 feet on either side so not to kink SUCKS
Cameraman needs lessons on better focussing on the join to the center of the video image...Try again.
Ok. We will.
What a sham. Totally doesn’t work.
Which bit doesn't work? There's not much that can go wrong here.
You might wanna tell the general public this is NO GOOD for water mains pressure! Call a plumber far out so many dodgy bastards 😂
We find most people are pretty good with this. You get the occasional person come in that didn't know but once we highlight the error they get it sorted professionally. Its part of the reason we do so much video.
