I'm a dude with deep voice, I listen to alot of metal & hardcore music but I cry everytime I listen TK first take because I watched Tokyo ghoul, I know the story & I know this is how Kaneki would sing for his suffering & pain, so that's why his high pitch voice fits so well. Kaneki felt so weak, he was nice kid but harsh reality made him do things he never wish to do. He's so broken inside only time will tell.

By skipping most of Kaneki's trauma inducing experiences they made him appear just like an edgelord in the anime while in the manga he's so much more than that. And the sad part is that both fans and haters made edits of some panels like "I am tragedy" and "I am dead inside". In reality he never said these things. Like yeah Kaneki is kinda edgy but the good kind not the "I am 14 and this deep" kind.

From my first impression on the title of this video, Megan do play piano? (There's a piano in her background, after all.) So, If Megan is interested in this UNRAVEL rabbit hole, I'd like to recommend Animenz's UNRAVEL piano cover. I've seen dozens of people who got inspired to learn piano by Animenz' cover, and it's undoubtedly one of the most popular UNRAVEL cover on RUclips. I'm sure pianists or piano lovers would appreciate Animenz brilliant arrangement and performance. On another note, IMO, the English translation of the lyrics in the First Take video is not "to the heart" enough. Also, TK's unique high-pitch singing style is probably partially affected by 'Eastern' culture's conservativeness on expressing feelings. (I'm a Taiwanese who has relatives living in California for decades.) For an English native speaker to fully grasp the atmosphere of this song, I'd recommend Jonathan Young's English cover. Not only did he adopt a more 'Western' style to interpret UNRAVEL, his translation/paraphrasing of the theme, and the way he delivered the rhythm of the vocal is so different, yet so aligned to TK's original. Anyway, thank you guys for making this video. It's a pleasure to witness a fresh face getting more and more impressed by UNRAVEL.
If I remember correctly for the reacting to things from the first take channel, you dont have to cut for copy right because they 1. Change it up from the original song, 2. They get permission from the artist and the channel itself allows reacting to it

But the name and the stuff that he did can be called legendary on its own. You can say that he is one of the pioneers of piano cover of anime music at that time. From the beautiful arrangement that he made to the sheer technique that he displayed, made me in awe first time watching him. That's why It'll be fun and interesting, and more educational too, to hear about it from another pianist perspective
High pitched male singing is wayyy harder and way more of a talent than any deep voice male singer. Doesn’t mean you have to like it better, but it takes a lot more talent to keep high pitches as a man, so men that can sing high pitched are more talented than women who do the same, because that’s expected
If she likes deep voices and liked the FirstTake I think you would love the Masayuki Suzuki FIRST TAKE versión of the Kaguya Openings! They are also great but more uunky and funny ❤️
Not to forget that TK(the vocalist) can also use the piano and he writes and compose his own songs
