My favorite song. sends my mind back to my jr. high school years, over 55 years ago!
Just take a moment to appreciate the spot-on coordination of all these young men when they're not even in the same room. They're relying on the recording or what have you to keep them where they need to be.

This song is actually called Mbube (the lion), and what you're singing is the Token's English version of this way too often uncredited song by Solomon Linda.
Solomon was never paid a dollar despite the song's success so let's compensate a little by respecting his memory and naming it correctly!
Also harder to change now but if you say Mmmbube instead of awimbowe it'd be more respectful towards Zulu speakers (and way more meaningful!)
