Like i said Simon.There are single coil stacked pickups / blades(Dimarzio)that will give you"the Purple sound".Big sise humbuckers are good for certain things.But with Purple you need the single coil slanted pickup window.Not all the time.But some songs will benefit a lot from this.Take care my friend.See you soon.
