I love this, Carla! Linda took me to Maine and now you took me to the Cape! I have not been for years, must go back. I remember that main road having so many cute little shops to explore. I may try to add this to our weekend trips next year. Thanks so much! 🧡

As soon as I get home from Church on Sundays, the first thing I do is to open my phone to see if your video is there to captivate me with more New England charm, and so it is there. I have driven through the towns many years ago that you featured, so it brought back fond memories, especially the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port. You are a gifted photographer and narrator. The scenery was beautiful, the lighting, the music, and even the sounds of crickets and the ocean waves transported me to places beyond New York City. I live on the cape and you really captured some beautiful footage . There is a web cam at the mattakeese restaurant you can view 24/7 and they have the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets and it’s so picturesque when the boats are coming through at those times. We have large screen tv’s at my job and we keep one on the restaurant all the time and it’s like having a frame tv hanging on the wall .

Thank you for sharing this outstanding beautiful video of all that New England has to offer. I remember when I went for a Labor Day weekend with my sibling and a mutual friend to Martha's Vineyard and stayed at a pretty, historical, clean in Edgartown and then went sightseeing, out to the nice taverns and had a great lobster dinner. I hope you have a great Autumn/Fall of 2024 and may God bless us for 2025 to be a bountiful economy and safety for us all.

Thank you for taking us along ,with this calming adventure with you. It’s been 52 years since we’ve seen Cape Cod,we were there for our Honeymoon,along with Boston. We bought a wedding gift for one another,in a Antique Shop a block from the Kennedy Compound.

Carla, Enjoyed seeing today's amazing views of the quaint towns in Cape Cod. Your B& B looked very comfortable and lovely, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful china tea 🍵 cups. You captured some very stunning views, even along the way the little Library with 📚 on the roadway. The awesome view from the water and boats in Harwichport was amazing, hope you enjoyed your dinner at Brax Landing. And to top it off seeing your little visitor Crocker 🐕 . I appreciate you for sharing your Fall trip with us. 🧡🧡🍁🍂🐿

It was so much fun to watch your travels at the Cape. My husband and I were there at the same time in many of the same places. It would have been fun to see you! We were there for a couple of weeks which was wonderful. I agree with your feeling crossing the Bourne Bridge. I'm always saying "I'm in heaven" when we're there. I love your channel.

Cape cod was our family destination when we were kids and my parents continued visiting until they no longer could . So many good memories .
I retire in approx a year. The Cape will be one of our first journeys and September looks like a great month to visit ? ( less crowds?)

I loved this video and finally seeing something of the Cape! In our 20's, my husband and I planned a driving trip from Canada in July 1975 to see the Cape, but it didn't end well! First we got severe seafood poisoning in Plymouth, then we were stuck in gridlock traffic for most of the day with no A/C in the heat. I think we went like 5 miles in 3 hours or something like that! Still suffering from the all night seafood poisoning and then having to breathe in gas fumes for hours! We saw absolutely nothing because the road was lined with pine trees....never even saw a glimpse of the ocean! We finally gave up and decided to get off the road and go to a cool movie theatre. What did we see? JAWS!! Well, that ended any beach trips! LOL We decided July was NOT the time to try to see the Cape, so we headed back home! Never did get back there, and after watching your lovely tour I finally feel that I've seen what we wanted to see 49 years ago!! Thank you! 😊
OMG, I'm sorry, but you definitely gave me a chuckle today! I'm so sorry to hear you got food poisoning though, that's AWFUL! I would recommend going in September after School starts. We lucked out with beautiful weather, fewer crowds and didn't see any Sharks! lol. Have a beautiful week Mavis!!!
@@mynewenglandstory Thank you! We are in our mid and late 70's now, and we have laughed many, many times about our failed Cape Cod adventure back so many years ago! Glad you didn't see any sharks on your lovely weekend excursion!! LOL
Lovely video! As a resident of Cape Cod you did an amazing job of capturing the quaint beauty and joy of the Cape. You hit many of my favorite spots but there is so much more to see and do so be sure to return again:)

@@mynewenglandstory If you like hiking and exploring there are so many amazing places. Wing Island in Brewster is a gorgeous walk that takes you over a marsh, through some upland forest then out to an amazing beach. You can only go at low tide so you have to plan accordingly. Also you should buy tickets to see a show at Cape Cod Playhouse if you come in the summer. Broadway shows in a historic theater. And P-Town should not be missed if you have not been.

The past few days are definitely feeling like Fall, chilly in the morning and evenings and Colors changing every day. The Bakery was absolutely delicious! The Chef was even wearing the tall Chef's hat, it made me feel like I was in Paris! lol. Have a great week Pauline!
My folks lived in Sandwich for almost 30 years before they passed. We sold the house and I do miss it. Autumn in the Cape is by far my favorite season.
